I can't imagine being a father as a wrestler having a son looking up to you as a little boy that would grow up to follow your path then for him to pass away is really heart breaking. My condolences goes out to the whole family and collieges that worked with Windham. R.I.P. Bray.

Sorry for your loss dude, my Dad is my best friend so I understand where you’re coming from. But I just wanted to write something to maybe help you out a little. I lost my Mom to cancer when I was only 16. I’m 40 now but still miss her Thing is though, losing parents is basically part of life for everyone. Almost all people have their Mom & Dad pass away before they do. Losing a child however is not really “part of life” per se. Parents passing away first is the natural order of things. For a parent to outlive their child is not normal, and is likely to be more difficult to overcome / deal with Again I just wanted to provide some perspective that can help you deal with things. Just hold onto all the good memories and think about the things you learned from your Dad, the times you spent together having fun. But unfortunately it’s something we all have to face at some point, so I hope you’re not feeling too alone in your sadness. All the best man

You can see the pain in Mike's eyes everytime they talked about Windham. I hope his family can find their peace with his passing in the future, I remember how I took the news, and I only knew him through a screen. Couldn't imagine how they reacted or have handled it themselves.

I’ve never seen anyone that multi talented with his characters as Windham Rotunda since Mick Foley. The creativity he bought for those characters under Bray Wyatt were incredible. Windham was a once in a lifetime talent. He had an old school mentality, and creative mind that would have fit in the era that brought us Kane, The Undertaker, and Mankind, . The WWE fans may have lost one of its biggest superstars but there is nothing more sad than a parent losing his kid. I can only imagine what Mike Rotunda would feel at WWE HOF ceremony knowing his son Bray Wyatt won't be able to witness it.

Bray is the reason I started watching wrestling again. I could see that he was going to revolutionize wrestling. That he was a rare talent. Sadly we are all at a loss over this. What he did accomplish was epic. Imagine what else he could have done.
A friend of my family actually wrestled against Mike in both high school and college. I can remember when we would watch wrestling and we were told about how tough Mike was and what a great athlete and guy he was. I am sorry for the crippling pain he went though in losing his son. At least getting inducted to the HOF with brother in law and longtime friend Barry Windham was something positive for him to enjoy.
I got chance to see Bray Wyatt wrestle in my town at smackdown live couple years ago on my birthday for my first time he will be missed and never gotten have he's action figure wish he was still here
March 24th 2023 I got Hurt and Heal tattoos on my knuckles. Sadly so soon he passed. But every moment for the rest of my life he's with me. On the Funhouse after Mania he said " did you miss me?" Every single day 😢 I let him in forever
My heart breaks for that family. It was SO unexpected and just gut wrenching to hear that he had passed. The future that was ahead of him was limitless. The WWE was basically his oyster in terms of how far he could have gone. It's a saddening grave reminder that we must NEVER take our lives or life in general for granted. Live everyday to the fullest you that you possibly can. And DO GOOD through helping others less privileged than yourself which will only enrich your own life. If we live our lives like that then we can truly say we lived them fully and properly. My heartfelt prayers go out to the Rotunda family. The legacy Windham left may have been short lived but it was awesome just the same.

A friend of my family actually wrestled against Mike in both high school and college. I can remember when we would watch wrestling and we were told about how tough Mike was and what a great athlete and guy he was. I am sorry for the crippling pain he went though in losing his son. At least getting inducted to the HOF with brother in law and longtime friend Barry Windham was something positive for him to enjoy.
I got chance to see Bray Wyatt wrestle in my town at smackdown live couple years ago on my birthday for my first time he will be missed and never gotten have he's action figure wish he was still here

That is sad to think about how he is gone.
My heart breaks for that family. It was SO unexpected and just gut wrenching to hear that he had passed. The future that was ahead of him was limitless. The WWE was basically his oyster in terms of how far he could have gone. It's a saddening grave reminder that we must NEVER take our lives or life in general for granted. Live everyday to the fullest you that you possibly can. And DO GOOD through helping others less privileged than yourself which will only enrich your own life. If we live our lives like that then we can truly say we lived them fully and properly. My heartfelt prayers go out to the Rotunda family. The legacy Windham left may have been short lived but it was awesome just the same.
Mike Rotundo seems a down to earth guy.
His son in my mind was the greatest creative mind in wrestling History.....
He learned from the best I grew up watching you in my child hood going on 59 today
