Guinea Pigs Gathering: "Wheekstock"

- Originally named 'Guinea Pigs Farm'. Re-named b/c our pets situation was incorrectly being compared with a 'piggy mill' -which it most certainly wasn't. 'Farm' was in the original title for no other reason than because of the pig herder's affectionate hobby. That was back before some of our newer subscribers joined us. Thanks for stopping by!. *Archive
Some of y'all wanted a peek at the shop. We're still building it. Always are and will be, it's more like a fort for adults, made of whatever got saved, scrounged or found free. It needs weather tight and critter proof while below requirements for any imaginable building code criteria, so it keeps to more a porch and tent affair. Had we other than a temperate coastal climate, easily an impractical impossibility. Were there any principles, they would be in how to go about it without having to spend money on stuff. On them, we happily empty our pocketses. - Животные
Gotten a lot of questions, lately. Is this a farm where guinea pigs are being raised for food, breeding for sale, or scientific experiment?. Nope, none of any of that. These are pets. Their setup got called a 'farm' out of an affectionate hobby. Nothing more. Keep calm and carry on watching!.
You can’t always see comments while watching .
I was possibly horrified as I fell in love 😍. PHEW,Thank goodness I found this pinned post 🙏
That is very nice of you :) Quick question though - aren't you afraid of having too many babies at the same time (as I see babies in the video)? What do you do with excess of babies?
How do you manage to do health checks on all of them?
I'm not a vegetarian but my favorite thing to have an animal as is a pet.
@@Arsaja Thank you for your question. Overpopulation and an excess of new tiny mouths to feed is always a concern, when you have this many (which I definitely don't suggest doing). Especiallly because guinea pigs tend to breed...well, like guinea pigs, really. Separation of the genders helps. Re-homing with loving owners, when and where possible.
I just loved watching this. Especially when the piggies run with a whole carrot in their mouth! That is so funny! The piggies have beautiful markings and I love listening them talk to each other.
Thank you so much!.
yes but only carrots can cause to much intake in sugar and thus can cause diabetes
@@klarmy2145 Agreed. Carrots need to be given in moderation, as a part of a balanced diet -as was the vet advice that we got.
Watching them run with the carrots made me giggle❣️
Mine dont get carrit stucks as they hit eachother with them.
Carrot discs only
I love that they all sit together to eat.
It's called, the guinea pig family who stays together, eats together.
Me too. I also like to hear the happy, contented chatter while they chow down. :)
Like the Amish
I am in the hospital awaiting surgery. I have been here forever! With Covid restrictions, my family cannot always visit. My daughter sends me RUclips videos to watch on my iPad to keep me entertained. These are the best! Thank you for providing them and thank you to her for finding them!
So glad you found us. The piggies and myself wish you all of the best with your surgery, and send our good wishes for your quick and complete recovery!.
I hope you're well Sharon. Sorry you're going through this. If you ever find yourself needing your faith strengthened please come see what I found on a map.
God bless and keep you.
I had emergency surgery in October 2020 make yourself a playlist of things just like this!!! It’ll keep you from losing it. I wish you a speedy recovery.
Wish you all the best :)
Try Sherpa the Husky also. He makes me laugh if you need some smiles in there.
Made me chuckle how they all grabbed a carrot and then tried to find a spot to eat it. Some stayed there, others took them back to bed.
I wished all guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters,....lived like this.
AMEN
@@Caterpillartears and?
Well hamster can't live in groups so....
Rats could, but hamsters are solitary creatures and would fight
@@Caterpillartears Hamsters only eat their young if the mother is extremely stressed, which means something is wrong with her environment or care. That means it's the owner's fault for not taking proper care of the hamster (too small cage, bad food, dirty cage, abusing the hamster by "playing" when it doesn't want to) and stressing it out. It's also like a mercy killing for her babies because in the wild a predator would get them first.
Nothing like babies. It's like Christmas with every litter. You never know what will pop out. The largest litter I had was seven and they all made it, but I had to help feed the runt. Mom still nurtured him and his siblings would popcorn when I put him back in with them, but he could not suckle well enough to compete so I fed him extra. He grew up to be a fine little man pig named Zeke. Black and white.
A fine little man pig named Zeke 👍
My older pigs we had a mated pair, I helped deliver the third litter…she had 6!! They all made it but I bottle fed them as well just so my Nu Nu could rest too💕💕. RIP Hoss & Luna🥰🥰🥰
Weakened the gene pool for future generations
We adopted ( thanks to my then 10 year old son) a pair of Gpigs within a couple of weeks we noticed when we woke up two turned into 3 . Evidently one was pregnant and we didn’t know. We ended up buying a plastic kiddie pool for the Gpig farm. This was their hangout when we weren’t home. The kids loved the Gpigs . After 3 litters we had to separate the girls from the boys and ended up with more pools.
It amazes me how much these guys eat. They’re so sweet and such gentle peaceful little beings. I really like how they have their own house. They look so comfy and happyZ
I have 2 and I can't believe how much they eat 😋
Always nice to see people who take joy in making animals happy.
R. I. P. carrots, you went out in a graze of glory.
So cute!, I love how some of them are taking their carrot 🥕 back to their house, 😂
Thank-you!. Yes, taking a carrot back to their house is like them having their own, personal security 'carrot'!. That way, they can sit back, relax ...and still keep on chewin'!.
Seeing them sitting around eating and making noises reminded me of the Star Trek original episode where they were dealing with tribbles.
😆
I wish I could sit in the middle of this. I get such good vibes from these happy piggies. It's amazing. We have 4 and I love to let them free and sit among them with treats. My soul pig peppa always comes for a cuddle. They have such different personalities. If I didn't work I'd have them out all day. But we do have piggies time every day before tea time. 🤣
What a BEAUTIFUL and sweet story. Your home sounds idyllic. I love people who Love and protect animals.
Love them furry potatoes 🥰🥰🥰
They do have different personalities! We have one who loves to be picked up and runs to you, one who loves to be nose scratched but is seasonal on picking up, one who “allows” us to pet her and mainly when veggies are in hand and the last one is just 6 months old so she’s still a wild child.
LOLOL they are so adorable grabbing their carrots and running around with them. Love piggies.
"Wheekstock!" Hilarious😄 Guinea pigs are the CUTEST 🐹
these are the happiest guinea pigs on earth!
yea it's paradise for sure i would love to live in there x)
What a peaceful way of living... surrounded by these beautiful creatures...
I had guinea pigs for 7 yrs. I still wait to hear the squeeling when a plastic bag moves and a fridge shutting. I miss it
I must be a really big nerd, to me, this looked like a wave of tribbles (cute small fur covered creatures that make pleasant noises, also that reproduce very quickly - Star Trek) running to the food... lol So cute.
my buddies in the states called them tribbles lol i have 2 skinny pigs and when they would make noise id hear "GO FEED THE TRIBBLES"
@@b1gr3d53 lol. Too funny. That is awesome.
That pretty much sums up a peeg =Tribble🥰
thought the same thing...
Cutest thing ever
The gentle wheeking and munching sounds make for soothing ASMR
Thanks!.
I swear that’s the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a long time, they all have a clean healthy big beautiful home, your so good to them their really lucky🍀 thanks so much for the video
Hi, I'm a retired racehorse groom and to see your babies was quite the beautiful thing. Your animals are saying we're happy & healthy. Blessed are they that take care of animals, for they are the sons & daughters of heaven.
When he opens the door and the piggies come and keep coming and coming...Then the other door opens and LOL!
How wonderful to see them on the ground, well fed and much loved best friends. Mine are too but I only have 12. Such calming adorable beings, simply the best “pets” on earth.
Thank-you for your lovely comment!. I hold deep admiration for anyone who owns guinea pigs-no matter how many!. I'm sure your 12 are a wonderful group to have!. Yes, I very much agree with you: guinea pigs definitely have some of the most redeeming qualities of any pet!. Wamest Wishes, ~Annabel.
I am always lookung forward to the time they line up to get their food. So adorable 😍

Beautyfull living for these animals much better then alone and indoors!
They walking with a carrot in mouth is so adorable!
It's so lovely to see the piggys being so well looked after so cutexx💕
I've never seen such a large group of these together like this. Never realized how socially cohesive they are. Great video, enjoyed it very much.
So precious. I’ve had Guinea pigs throughout my life. They are so precious. I lost my last boy 3 years ago. He was 6. He had a great life and it broke my heart when I found him. He had a huge cage and lived in my house. There was nothing strange going on with him. He ate all good food, Timothy hay, fresh vegetables, but one morning, I uncovered his cage and he had passed away. I rescued him when he was a baby from a pet store. His name was Cubby. He lived in a busy area of my home where he had interaction with me all through the day and also my children and grandchildren. I miss his precious squeaks. 😔❤️
Wonderful, these pigs seem very happy and well taken care of 😊 edit: OMG THE BABIES!! 🥰😍😘
I want the one with the stripe on its head! Looks like a mini badger!
Loved watching and hearing this !I had one or mostly two different Guinea pigs over a period of 13 years but when my last one passed away last year me being 74 years old I thought I’d better not get any more but I do miss them lovely little pets wheeked at me whenever they heard the back door open loved treats of strawberries or grapes and I loved watching them Hoover up fresh parsley from the garden SO CUTE !!
Some people have herds of cattle, you have a herd of Guinea pigs. I love it. Kind of the difference in a regular sized home and a tiny home! 😊
A tiny home couldn't handle this, unless you get a few tiny homes just for the piggies
If you are a fan of guinea pigs, this is a free therapy session. We have 3 of them, and they are great.
Thanks!. Glad you enjoy your three!.
This is the most soothing video! I love hearing them all quietly munching away at their food!
Wow look at that they know exactly where to go I just love watching them walk around getting your carrots in their grass 🤗
For almost 20 years I always had around 15 guinea pigs running around freely in the garden and in the house. When you deal with them, they are like dogs. Highly intelligent and also affectionate. Everyone has their own character, likes and dislikes. They brought us a lot of joy.
Annabel, keep your videos coming. I love all of them. Your piggies are awesome and entertaining to watch. I call mine comic books. Never a dull moment ❤😅
Thanks for your ongoing support and encouragement, Cynthia. So happy that you find our guinea pig crew to be entertaining!. Always something happening!.
OMG! Never have seen this many Guinea pigs. Too cute.
Love these videos. It is so therapeutic seeing those little critters running around and eating.
It’s both cute and terrifying at the same time
What a bunch of healthy happy critters! You can tell by all the chatter that they're well cared for animals. Thumbs up👍
Tribbles! Just love watching these guys. I had one, he was lots of fun.
That's exactly what I was reminded of, The Trouble With Tribbles episode!
This is just a paradise for piggies..i love it🤩😍
these sights and sounds are relaxing therapy.
i love the fact that once they come in the trot calmly and then pick up and csrrot and continue trotting!!👌👌🐹🐹💕💕💜
2:45 This is the heaven that I dreamed of.
I love guinea pigs, had a few .Great to see them in numbers , real characters , lohve their noises , they're just such fun
Does the sound of them chewing remind anyone else of the sound of rain
I would love to be able to care for that many piggies. It would be so awesome. One big family of fur babies 🥰
So enjoying this video and see this kind of adorable piggies the first time. I was laughing to see them fighting for the carrotts, and how they are running away with them, "it`s mine don`t toutch it"
So cute and lovely they are. They have such a loving care of you, with this big houses, fresh gras and they all can running.....thank you so much for sharing this.
I am also happy that they are only pets for joining us. They don`t be killed or saled to animal laborary.
I love this!!! They are just precious and that sweet squeaky noise they make. Too adorable.....
I was thinking, dang, a whole 25 lb bag of carrots? Then I saw all the critters, that still wasn't enough!
25lbs at a time is a bare minimum.
How cute is it that they run off with a whole carrot in there mouth ❤️
Some of the shaggier ones look just like tiny Wookies! 😄
I want to go to Wheekstock!!
Forget Disney land, Wheekstock is the happiest place on Earth!
The sound of happy guinea pigs munching ❤❤❤❤
Simply adorable! I noticed they like to grab their own carrot (not sharing) then take off with it to savour it in peace x
Watching a video of guinea pigs eating! I didn't know I needed this in my life.
The noises they make is adorable
I only have one simple thing to say to You!!
Congratulation with the numbers of views and the growth of this channel!!!
You deserve it!!!
This is what my heaven would look like….. to be surrounded by these adorable cavvies
I have 3 of these little lunatics in a really large indoor hutch, I love them to bits. This setup is absolute heaven for me. If I had the space I'd love it. Super video👌😍
Rescued one once from a woman's kid who wouldn't care for it. My suggestion buy only for mature kids. G.P. was a sweetie we made a large outdoor run cage safe from birds and brought him in at night the dogs and cats loved him and they would curl up together. Loved his happy squeals. Beautiful well cared bunch here!
What a wonderful place you have created for them🐹🐹🐹🐹🐹🐹🐹🐹🐹💓
You are so kind. Thank you!.
Oh how they love their grass. It's so good for them. I give mine oranges also for the vitamin C. Cilantro is popular as are dandelions all summer long. They are such little horses aren't they? They eat the same food as horses do. What happy piggies you have. Bless you.
Quite so. Their design is adapted to it, accounting for their size. We imagine lots of little molars and what they are suited to. Beyond that, they are very adaptable. Even live with people, so well as allowed. Their lives are short however, reminding us to ours as much the same. It seems a fine thing to fill them with comforts of happiness.
@@annabeltemple230 Yes, the grasses are their natural food in their native habitat. Very tall grasses sometimes. I was reading about their countries of origin and how they live in the wild. They tunnel through the grass. They run like bullet trains in their tunnels. And you know how they eat it like spaghetti so even if its very long, in it goes. Delightful to watch that little chewing and grass disappearing. Adorable. They even can chew their cud at times like a little cow or horse. There are so few people on earth it seems that we can share this love of piggies with. However, early in my piggie keeping days, I connected with fanciers in England over the rather new internet at that time. There were "cavy rescues" (the brits call them cavies) where sweet and loving people kept many of them rescued from various animal shelters. Then there were breeders of every kind and peculiarity. My very first sow was a beautiful cream colored long hair. Not Peruvian, because it was short around the head, but very long in the back and with a bit of wave. She was gorgeous. Huge eyes and very blunt nose. I named her Cream Puff. She gave me my first babies. The boar was a short haired "self" (all one color) shiny black, Ebony. They produced self babies of all colors. Pure white, pure red, pure black, pure cream. They were such beauties and so large! They grew to two pounds and had very sweet dispositions. Calm. Affectionate. I still remember those first babies with such delight. And it never ended. Each litter was a big family affair with all of us trying to catch the mommy having the babies. I'd bring them inside and keep them by my bed so as to not miss the grand event, but almost every time I'd fall asleep and in the morning there would be a litter of darling kits making baby noises. But there were times when we did witness the blessed events and those were thrilling. My children enjoyed them and handled each baby immediately to imprint it so it would not be fearful of people. I have many photos of the kids holding the babies. Such a sweet way to teach children about mammal reproduction. Almost bloodless births and the babies so ready to interact right out of the chute. Within days they are eating food as well as nursing. Mice and rats and rabbits are born blind and naked. Not piggies! They must be ready to run through the grass with mommy to survive. And they can talk to us right away. Perfection. Yes, some of mine were shorter lived than others also. I had one line which were quite small and they only lived two years so I stopped breeding that line. I tried for longevity and good temperament. Ebony lived five years and I thought that was long until Flash! Flash is going on nine or ten years old. I have actually lost track of his age! He has outlived two mates and some of his offspring. But as you say, their lives are far too short and their passing was always such a sadness.
Let the piggy stampede begin. I love it. 😊💞😊💞
I was trying to tell you that; you have the 'Robot Chicken'🐔 animation crew members who have just gotten away with making fun of the guinea pigs, which is wrong.
Someday you ought to appreciate me telling this to you.
It's a barn full of hungry fuzzy potatoes that sound like Lazer guns!
Tribbles! They even sound like them 😄
Living a happy natural life! Very lucky babies.
I’ve never seen such beautiful healthy piggies 🐷
I am watching this with my wife's guinea pig Skelly. She is chutting at this video full of snacks and friends.
Hi Skelly!.
oh noes, I just realized that i'm watching this video about guinea pigs, i bet now my youtube recomendations again will be endless stream of guinea pig videos..
This has to be the cutest video I have seen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Cute overload 🥰.Came across this by accident but keep watching. Love seeing them run out in a line ❤
I think it's awesome!! We've had some ourselves and they were fun! 😃
I'm so glad they are just wonderful pets. They are adorable!
It's like the chocolate factory but nummy guinea pig food everywhere!
wow i had no idea people could have this many piggies!! and here i thought having 4 was odd!!
I do not know why watching guinea pigs march in a line to food, eat and watching babies eat ground up carrots is so.........Satisfying! Something weird about me! I love these videos. thank you for posting.
Thank you for watching and commenting: much appreciated!.
Wheestock, that's so funny 🤣🤣!!!!! These are just the sweetest little things!!! And the babies, omg!!! Cuteness 🥰 overload.
they are like The Tribbles of the original star trek
Guinea pig stampede they are saying food!!! Don't know how you keep up with all them. I have 7 piggies and they keep me hoppin
It's our only job. Economy of scale has some effect, but when the only advice is to not, you'll need inventive and perceptive. Good thing pigs will tell you in no uncertain terms. When you know each personally, small differences in behavior catch attention. Dawn to dark, seven days a week is no exaggeration. We can't recommend it, but will insist love is what gets us all by. Seven is plenty, most assuredly.
That's Amazing!!! You r such a good farmer!!! God bless u in being so Kind with these precious babies!!😇
Thank you for your kind words.
Hilarious! All these little furry bundles running around with their carrots and making those squeaky noises, like animated squeaking slippers!
I call them potatoes with feet lol
Hearing the 'crunch crunch crunch' 😍😍😍😍
what a joy to watch
So Adorable how they take a carrot and run lol
I used to have Guinea pigs. What does 1 + 1 equal? That’s right, 7! That’s the number I ended up with before I realised Guinea pigs breed like rabbits and separated the male and females. They are happy little things to have pottering around the garden.
Ah, yes ... the rabbit 'trap'. Indeed, they do. Quite so. Happiness on four, furry legs.
Strangely this is pleasurable to watch
Nice. I like it, when every one grabs a carrot and run away with it. ^^
i thought it was just going to be like 15 or 20 but noooo that look like a avalanche of piggies, and my mom said that 7 guinea pigs is enough in my house
She right. Build a barn, if you are going to negotiate with her.
@@annabeltemple230 that's the thing, when i asked her if someone else could build a barn for me she said she would but she wouldn't give me money in order to make that barn :
@@alonnarobertson1170 Ooh, darn. Now you'll need a job. How are you with guinea pigs?

I used to have these when I was a kid. They died of old age and I’ll never get them again because they don’t last very long. It hurt too much to lose them 😓

I love ur Lil pig army ❤️ makes me happy
Can u name a brown and black one Georgie in memory of my pig? It would mean a lot
I've fell in love😍😭so adorable awwws I could sit there and watch all day it's good for my depression❤️
At that time I don't think that the mommas and baby guinea pigs were given enough food!! It's a beautiful place for them to be!!
It’s like having a boss that is a giant blob of Guinea Pigs! I’d take that job though.
Fabulous to watch! Every one a cutie. Mama has her paws full with her FIVE babies! What a beautiful setting and so natural 😍
Wow this is awesome never ever seen so many guinea pigs in one place, beautiful .
