I read your second reply, and you found out wrong. Yes he does write. He wrote VII, helped write VIII, writes and directs the KH series and so on. However writing or not none of the games he has major involvement in are deep. VI may not be as thought-provoking as some other games and stories out there but it's much moreso than VII or VIII.
