Billy West ?!? I was wondering for 10 minutes, why this guy at some moments doesn't look like CHAPLIN . But I was blaming my eyesight all this time.....until i read your comment, thank you for that 😃😄😁
What's remarkable is that Chaplin never brought an action against West. There is a story that the two of them met once and Chaplin complimented West on his imitation and that was that.
In the very beginning the movies were made at Kaufman Studios in Astoria, Queens NYC by the 1930's they moved everything to Los Angeles. Kaufman Studios though still operates for the TV & Film Industry
This copy of "The Rogue" with Billy West ends rather abruptly. I have seen some additional footage (less than a minute) from another youtube video showing Billy managing to get upstairs to meet with "The Girl" and her having prepared for an elopement with Billy. Complete with suitcase and a ladder up against her second story window! 73, WB6FBF
@@DieGroteske, oh. It looks like Groucho, at least on my phone, but my phone is also showing not the best picture. If it was a better picture, their faces would be more clear, and it may then not look as much like Groucho
I believe this copy was available from a California dealer who decided to go out of business rather than release any of his material on DVD. All of his material was available in the VHS analog format much of it was of nice quality. This same dealer did manage to ruin several rare several silent film features in which he issued separately as part of a different series. A very invasive logo was placed in the bottom right of many of these features. Little did he know that with using modern day video editing software these invasive logos are easily dealt with and now considered worthless.
I like this type of movies
Realmente es y será siempre el único en su estilo particular de ser chaplin
At last I have the opportunity to see a Billy West movie, the great Chaplin imitator! Thank you.

Классный Чарли Чаплин!!! Артист от бога!!! Люблю!!!
Great comedian in the world true legend
Besides acting, situations are really funny. Great and great!
A false Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy playing somebody else, and surely other stars I don't recognize, this is great like a cross over for old-timers

Based on what you have read anyway, we will never know the truth about a lot of things from the past.
Quite brilliant. And wasn't Oliver great. Love these old things so much. Wish the locations could be identified.

Leo White and Oliver Hardy
Пародия не пародия. Имитация. Чарльз Спенсер Чаплин гениален и неповторим.
OLIVER!? ITS OLIVER HARDY!
I love you.

Is that Groucho Marx in 23:43, 16:49, and several other scenes?
That is Leo White, a Chaplin Co-Star from Essanay (1915) onwards until The Great Dictator (1940)
