    Cuando era niño, veíamos a Harold Lloyd en la tv, aquí en México, en los 70's, así como también "El gordo y el flaco" ( Stan Lawrel & Oliver Hardy)...

      Actually the “Roaring Twenties” were a legendary good time. However the “Great Depression “ of the 1930’s certainly was miserable.

      It could get miserable if you were poor, but it also gave my coal miner granddad in West Virginia, a lucrative side hustle of running a still to make extra money for his 11 kids. And even though he had a reputation for making "good stuff", all of my aunts and uncles, and Dad, grew up to be teetotalers!
