YZ250 is a man's Bike, The vibration, clucth, Power, YZ has soul! You need strenght to handle this bike.
Why I love my 2005 YZ250 has the best upgrades you could really get, it’s beautiful insane power
I know 5.4 females that would throw that thing around and there rake thin..
The Cr500 kx500 yz490 xr650r ktm690 aprilla rxv550 there man's bikes.
@@ozbulitsinces1996 would love to get my hand on Aprilia rxv550. Ktm690 is a dual sport with limited suspension travel. not THAT powerful, more of a trail bike
@@UlukoJiiRi the 690 uncorked is actually the most powerful out the lot you can still do a hard enduro no worries or even kit a MX track on it and don't need to services it as much as a 450/500ktm and have more hp then the xr or the cr stock and the suspension is alot better then the xr I have all these bikes and the 690 is definitely is my go to for for a bit of everything the Aprilia has awesome power but the motor's are like grenades and everything time I ride it it scares me as I don't want it to blow as parts are extremely hard and expensive to find
Single track looked pretty dope. That yz sounded like a monster!
The single track trails at WCMX are definitely sweet Alan let's ride there some time!
Cool video guys, great 2 stroke sound and ride.
Love the sound of 2 strokes
Love the videos man... Thanks
Those bikes love wide open throttle on a long track!!
Great vid like allways keep up the good work!
Thank you Ethan!
Awesome footage man
thank you for the video of the yz250 I think that this dirt motor cross bike is awesome!!
dude great sound quality, really felt like I was on the bike lol
Bike sounded so mean! Also the non-hydraulic clutch will wear your hands out like crazy. I have a clutch just like that on my cr 80 and i have to feather the clutch so my hands are super tired after one moto. How different did it feel compared with to any of the 450’s you rode?
Definitely more woods rides!
2stroke baby just got 2love the YZ!!!!..... Ever since a little boy I have loved YZ dirt bikes
2strokes 🔥🤟 keep making videos with them
Agreed! 🔥🔥
We have the CCC trails in lower Michigan, that are a lot, a lot like that trail.
I am running the Dunlop MX14 in them. Awesome.
Had a 06 YZ250, best bike ive owned.
Fasst Flex bars takes out pretty much all the vibrations, a Rekluse clutch will fix the stalling issues
Now I gotta go ride my YZ
I have a 04 yz 250..with a magura clutch & lighter clutch springs.. makes it so much easier to ride ...that thing is a beast..
I hope you reply!! But I have a 04 aswell and u swapped to hydro clutch lever?
Yz the best💪🔥
Yz250 man great bikes
Man the track looks fun
Track was pretty rough and I was riding like pooooop. When he grooms it the track is so sweet!
YO THIS TRACK IS THE FIRST TRACK I'VE RODE ON!
Good beginner bike or a yz125? I rode atvs and a ninja 636 I'm 5'11 and 190lbs
2 STROKE BABY
If you were 5 foot 8 inches tall and looking for an all around mx bike to do both single track and mx track riding at a novice level what would you recommend?
id say a 125 or a 250f
I am going to watch this vid just because he has his handlebars set up properly, (and not like a freestyle setup riders use today).
Now here is a man who thinks for himself!!!!! :)
That looks greasy brother !!! Tough track conditions but well done
Can you do a motocross video at ncmp?
Keep a finger on the clutch and a finger on the brake. When you get faster/smoother, you will notice you are using all the controls at the same time, (overlapping functions).
Where is this place?
Those Yamaha yz are great bikes!
First person iv ever heard say they like ktm suspension 😂
story time: 2 minutes ago i was on the hub and went down to the comments and there was a user called "lightningMcqueen95" and he proceeded to say: I won the Piston Cup!
ANYWAY HELLO DEREK!!!
@Gage Forian LMFAO
What’s the hub
@@CyrusFisher619 you'll understand one day mate don't worry
@@VZBOYY ok
Hahahahaha
2021 YZ250X best bike ever for single track and woods. Couple upgrades in it and she rips. I dominate my friends 97 ktm 360 sx and that thing puts out 55hp
Va solo en el piloto aveces!
I love my yz250, don’t worry you will get used to the vibrations 😍
Does the YZ250 vibrate more than the YZ250X? I've ridden a new 250X and it wasn't bad at all. My old 2002 KX250 was real buzzy.
@@markmoore4088 All depends on the year of the bike, I've noticed my 2002 yz250 vibrates a lot more then my buddies 2008 yz250, I suppose it's because they are built different. As far as 250x and 250 im pretty sure the motor is the same just the bike is built for harsher off road terrain, Dont quote me on it though.. Hope this helps :)
@@AirsoftWolfie X's are tuned for smoother power delivery--lower compression, different power valve operation, different cdi programming, and slightly lower exhaust port.
@@markmoore4088 ok word
New clutch cable will fix it, they are light clutch pull standard.
'this thing vibrates soo much" my boi this is where it's at we been tellin u
and throw on a magura hydro in 5 min fix that clutch
or a new cable probably the 2013 cable :)

The steel frame yz250s were better in the woods and pretty much everywhere besides suspension honestly. I've had a 2002 and have a 2010. Aluminum doesn't compare to steel. Flywheel weight helps a lot
what main differences can you say are most noticeable between an aluminum framed yz and a steely?
they have a woods version, the yz250x
The aluminum frame bike never felt as planted or manueverable to me and seemed more twitchy on harder slicker terrain. The little bit of flex the steel frame had seemed to help keep the bike planted in comparison.
I think the yz250x just has a wide ratio transmission doesn't it? You can actually buy the transmission kit to change any yz250 into a yz250x
@@user-vx7zl6kp9mhe x also had retarded exnigtion timing , less pipe volume, more head volume, different powervalve springs, 18 inch rear wheel and softer suspension valving
What GoPro are you using?

Hey, I have a question.
I‘m turning 18 this year and riding a sx85 but this bike is to tiny for me, so i was looking for a new one. I was interested in four-stroke‘s, one option was the sxf250 but my mechanic said that the sxf250‘s have some problems at shift down to early before corners. So the only bike Right now for me is a sxf350 but I don’t know if that is a good choice. Have you a little tip for me?
If you're talking about brand new then the 250sxf want have anymore problems than any other brand of bike just comes down to how you treat and maintain it. Don't quite understand what you mean about the shifting problem in corners either. I'd definitely recommend the 250 over the 350 as a first big bike but that doesn't mean the 350 will be bad for you either just respect the power and you'll be fine
@@tcmx712 yes, the sxf250 would be a 2018 the newer ones are to expensive. I don’t understand that too with that shifting, I heard something with some problems but it can be that this ktm seller meant an old sxf250.
@@tcmx712 can you tell me what was your first big bike? And what are you riding right now? 👍
@@EinfachCedric 250sx 2t in the woods, it was a bad, bad idea. I did learn really good throttle control but also learnt that breaking bones hurts haha. Had a few bikes since then but riding a crf450r now but will probs be going to a new kx250 or 250sxf at the end of the year. These new 250 4t's have the perfect amount of power in my opinion especially for guys who just ride for fun
@@tcmx712 ahh okay nice, the new ktm‘s are a Little too expensive for me but they look really good 👍
Your sold now
We are yz brothers now
Yeah wood time! Keep it up man!
Show ✊🏻✊🏻💯
Didn't even get to get it into power band 😕
4:34 lil bit
Dangerous in the woods. He dug into it some on the track though.
1 gear outta 6. Lmao
Clutch is messed up. Why don't you fix it before riding?
I love for dirt bikes but I can’t get one
Nice
More woods riding
You bet
nice
Old school cool me and my friends bikes are all 2 strokes older than us 02s 01s and 96 bikes
I’m 17 now but got my first bike when I was 14, it was a ‘74.
@@elia3043 15 years old on a 19 year old bike myself
That didnt look like fun near all those trees and a 250cc two stroke.....cant wind it up..
Oi well i am early today!

You should get a Honda cr 250
Actually was just thinking about buying a CR250 two days ago haha
I love dirt bikes but I can’t get one
Same man it sucks, I dream of riding all the time
you should try a newer YZ. That one seemed a bit clapped out.
Clapped our how?
Trail videos
Damn I don’t know if I want a 250f or 250 two stroke as my next bike🥵
2 stroke 100%. You can never match the fun of a 250 2t
Ya looking at two different animals there champ lol
Get a 2t the only reason I bought a 250r instead of a 125r is more low end
@@DumpySkittles I know i own a kx125 right now and have ridden both 250s a bunch of times but theyre both son fun
My 08 is in better condition. It doesnt vibrate, its a 2stroke
I just recently traded my sport qaud for a yz250f which I do want to say the reason why I got the qaud was to sell it and buy a 2 stroke dirt bike but I decided to trade recently for a yz250f and I don’t know what the fuck I was thinking I knew damn well if I ended up with a 4 stroke I would be disappointed but did I listen to myself NO
if you really want the nice experience of one get on a 2019-2021 it’ll def be a little nicer
I am 57 years old!! Do you think I can ride again ,after all those past years??
YES do it!!
To your creditderek ..that track was very difficult for 250 noob..wet loose and deep..(sounds like my ex wife)..seriously the 250 is the most difficult of them all to master ..it wants to rap like a 125 and carries the punch closer to a 500..very hard to keep hooked up and going straight..the 125 goes straight when pinned easier and the big bore has loads of torque similar to a 4s..but when a guy gets it right the250 is pure magic ..ya ktm250 is a better bike since 2019. But the yz is very good and the suspenders are superb..especially the forks..the katoom shreds it though
5:46 Not a good place for a sandy colored chair. I didn't see it until you almost hit it.
yz 250 is a mans bike
Your riding it like a 4 stroke 😑 ride it like its meant to be ridden. Wide open in band. Its made to rev not idle around
Yeah I wasn't great back then, especially on a two stroke. But if YOU can ride a 250 two stroke wide open in tight whooped out trails like this you're probably a pro, right? 🤣
top, I´m a first
get a yz u rode a hoagie one can’t compare
You can’t handle the power go back to the 150
I should probably just ride a 50cc
