Liz, the artjournaling idea is such a wonderful way to "use" things and make them beautiful. You have me cleaning and reusing my coffee filters for crying out loud. thank you for opening this world for me!

Just wanted to thank you for your video making mini palette with silicone ice cube tray. It's been absolutely brilliant, I made myself dozens for all my paints , it saved me lots of money, space, and I love them as wet palettes. I mostly use farber castell putty eraser boxes, it fits 12 colours perfectly. It's been a game changer for me and I just wanted to thank you. Very best wishes, gabriela

At the end, you mentioned wondering about cleaning the brush…. I’ve copied other people who I’ve seen cleaning smaller blending brushes with inks - they grab a roll of kitchen towel and just rub the brush up and down the paper roll until the colour stops coming off. Then when the outside of the roll gets too dirty, they just tear off that outside sheet (it’s easier that way than trying to rub the brush off on a loose sheet of kitchen towel). I also guess it depends if you want to use other colours, I mean if it’s only going to be used for “grungy” colours to age the edges, it might not need cleaning at all. 😊

That IS quite the haul!! How fun! (Especially when some of the things were a "surprise!")😁 So I am REALLY interested in the paper with the textures! Not for journaling...but for laying in a wash of paint and then lifting it back out after the paint has dried to leave a pattern...do you think they would work for this? (Kind of like using cling film?) I looked through their website - wow - lots to choose from...everything seems to be on sale and the free shipping is on a low amount - only have to spend $29 here in the US to get it! I may check out their rubber stamps as well - I am partial to wood ones! Thanks for doing the testing and investigating, Liz! I'll watch the further video using these next!

I’m not sure about the imprinting/ lifting out. I haven’t tried that. if I have time….. the choice is amazing, isn’t it?

@@LizChadertonArt Well, if I order and try before it before you, I'll let you know! I have seen "skeleton leaves" used like that - I ordered some from Amazon awhile back, but returned them unused as they were all the same size. And if it doesn't work, I can always use the paper in my card and photo album making!

Very nice selection. I liked the pen and ink stamps and the washi and stamps booklets. I've started art journaling this year, so this is tempting 😸. Love the journal page you created😊
