      do you mean the picking pattern? best I can describe it is by telling you the sequence of strings to play, and it is:
      E D G D G D E D and repeat

      no i mean how you play it so quickly, when i try to do it my fingers always touch other strings

    hey man! can a acoustic guitar do the same stuff with the "default" tuning?
    thanks in advance!

    • @nolan.guitar
      @nolan.guitar  6 лет назад +3

      Filipe Queiroz yep! this is in standard tuning, your acoustic should be fine. you might have trouble hitting the high frets if you don't have a cutaway though.

    hey, do you have some tip for barring the Cm chord? i try to do this, but always the G string doesn't sound well and that just ruins everything to me (it's like i didn't have force enough to press that with my finger. i tried every position you can imagine and tried to apply a lot of force, but i just don't get it). i found the "E D G D G D E D" sequence okay, but hell, i don't really know how to bar Cm and i really want to learn this :c

    • @nolan.guitar
      @nolan.guitar  6 лет назад

      Filipe Queiroz hi filipe! barre chords are a bit of a hassle at first, and really the only advice I can give you is to keep trying. it takes a bit of practice to strengthen your fingers to the point where you can barre without muting any strings, but you will get there! for now, you could try putting your first finger on the low E string 8th fret, middle finger on the G string 8th fret, and third finger/pinky finger on the D string 10th fret for that Cm chord, and that way you don't have to barre it.
