hey Kyle! im thinking about buying a guitar to play songs like eden ones. for this case, is it better to buy a telescaster or stratocaster? (it would be my first guitar; now i only have an acoustic guitar)

Filipe my man, I saved this comment for when I had some time to come back to it.
I hate to say GOTTA PLAY EM, but you gotta play them to decide, however I can give you some insight. I have never owned a telecaster so I cant speak for them, however I'm 99% sure they use humbucker pickups. They're a bit better for that distortion and that grit, compared to the single coil pickups we have in the stratocaster. With that being said I am a fan of the way the stratocaster feels and plays for single string noodling/picking and CLEAN tones. (I have more of a background in jazz guitar playing). It's also important to keep in mind not all these guitars will sound the same, a 300$ strat will have much different pickups than a 1500$ one. Its truly a matter of preference. If this is your first electric, focus on the feel of the guitar more than the sound. You can perfect your sound once you get to it :) Much love and happy hunting!
