Dear Matt & Kim: This song released in the middle of my divorce and I discovered it the weekend that I was moving out of my ex's house. I have no regrets and I tried my hardest to make it work, but you will never be right for the wrong person. I've grown so much as a person in the last 5 years though that I can honestly say: "I'm just glad I tried". This song has become an anthem for my life and I listen to it everyday as I keep trying new things and hope that one day I'll cross paths with someone as right for me as you are for each other. Love to you both and may everyday be the best day of your life thus far :)

I can attest to what kim said. Last show I saw them at was in Detroit and there was a Dad with four or five 12 year old girls there. Matt was talking about how good it was to be in The D. Kim followed that up by talking about how bad she wanted Matt’s D in her for a good minute or two. I know that dad had to be cringing inside during that. Haha.

This is gonna be the best fucking album of 2018
just rediscovered their songs, i was looking at there most notable of my child hood, "daylight" and i was like, what other songs do they do, and usually when i look at artists that had those good 1 hit wonders their other songs are trash, however Mat and Kim had just a nice synergy, like a relationship in the music industry that is this strong is amazing, but their songs to date are still great, its a shame they arnt like super famous, great artists, great songs, Matt and Kim!
