    Long time pro...some mistakes made on this project...starting with storing your wheelbarrows upside down during the cold months to not dumping mulch on flagstone paths...lol...that’s how ya learn though..beautiful house and gardens, ...and two thumbs up for the very well put together video..good luck kid.

    Hello Garden Guy. How's everyone doing? My son had put some winter grass seed on the yard and as it greened up I thought of you. God bless you all.

      We're doing well! It's getting cold these days but that's to be expected. Thank you for asking! That son of yours is doing great! God bless.

    Such good info! So - no angled trough on the grass edge, just the driveway, sidewalk edge? I need to remember that tip for the spring! Thanks so much!

      I'm glad that's helpful, Heather. I do like to clean up the grass edge too. There needs to be a slight trench there too so that the mulch does not fall into the grass. Blessings!

    Hey garden guy thanks for the tips! Whats your thoughts on spraying a water sealant ontop on your mulch? Heard some folks do that to preserve the color and lifespan of the multch.

    • @gardenguychannel
      @gardenguychannel  3 месяца назад

      Sure thing! Well, it will preserve it some for sure. I usually err more on the side of all-natural myself. But may be worth a try!

    Fierce pliers! Ask Justin if he uses them on woven wire or page wire! lol He could have left all this cold in NC. Don't need it in FL!
    We really get into the landscaper dirt around here. Thanks.

    You mentioned you like to weed wack the annual weeds down and blow out the seeds. But my question is wouldn’t that be counterproductive since it would blow the weed seeds into the lawn? Why not skip the blowing and put on the heavy layer of mulch wouldn’t that suffice to insulate all the remaining weed seeds?
