I like that corrupt (especially on higher costing cards) is making cards like Twin Tyrant relevant again
I highly doubt twin tyrant will stay in the final version, seems like one of the easiest cards to cut.
@@taserrr You'd be surprised. Netherwing and breath are so good together you really want to run them, and Tyrant manages to hit that sweet spot of being an 8 mana card that is reactive and is a dragon.
I use Zzeraku actually, drop it in the same time with strongman and hero power is a good refill against control.. but damn I don't think about twin tyrant, might include one
Wait, no.. after seeing the trump list, my list is a lot better because it more midrangey.. his list too greedy while the payoff is need to draw tickatus naturally. I include 2 sense demon to draw tickatus early but can still fight the board. Also Zzeraku is better against Cthun rogue

I had a game the exact opposite of this one, I shuffled C'thun in, and drew a couple of cards with the last of my mana. The warlock conceded when he burned my entire deck and didn't see C'thun...
I once had a game where I healed my opponent's minion when his hand was full, and his northshire cleric burned his golden monkey.
I like playing against locks who think Tickatus will save them from my Cthun, when he's already in my hand...
Khartut Defender has been in rotation since August of 2019 and today was the first time I heard it say something other than, "Our homes, our tombs."

opponent also should have probably hero powered at 4:09 as well. Puts him on a 2-turn clock instead of playing a card that loses to any taunt

@@santisinferno it actually seems pretty good. Tickatus is annoying for combo decks and control decks, so slap some healing and board clear in for aggro matchups and it should do fine. Not sure if it's tier 1 but it doesn't look dogshit

Tickutas is exactly what my soul shard Warlock deck needed.
Old gods make the game fun ppl start playing greedy decks, currently my funnest decks so far are Mega greedy singleton mage with chunk yogg nzoth kalecgos reno but it surprisingly has about 8 mana cards so early game is relatively consistent and the cthun parts help me survive mid game. Other deck is tikatus singleton lock
I’ve been playing an even control lock with c’thun in wild and it’s actually pretty good so far, beats most priests which feels amazing
Well that's always the case because people are actually having fun and meta is slow with unoptimised decks. after a week or so the game goes back to: aggro too strong because it's extremely consistent, easy to play and pilot and very fast wins.

It doesn't even have to be aggro, I'm playing a mid-rangey warrior gala/menagerie deck and just cruised to Gold by just being a little aggressive. Even with ETC and two copies of 1/3 rush mech that are rubbish lol

Yea accept it crushes control. You literally can’t win if you’re playing control or combo. Milling 10 cards is impossible to come back from. It’s so stupid. Probably gonna get nerfed to like 8 mans mill 3 soon
@@djLagwayEnjoyer if the nerfs ever happen to it, it will makes it mill cards from both side. The cost and stats will be same. Because the core of the card is that it changed the purpose when it corrupted. If you make it 8 Mana it's literally unplayable without corrupt and you can't really corrupt it either because not so many 9 and 10 drop in warlock.
Also, real control deck doesn't really get problem by having their card milled because they still have their value card to hit slam into and have a lot of generation card. The one that killed by tickatus is fatigue control deck because the way they play the game is stalling into fatigue and now they don't have that condition.
That rogue game was one beat down after another.
Ticketus Warlock, with YSharaz (obviously) but add Cthun and Yog Saron.

I just had a match where i burned the opponents Cthun body parts with only one Tickatus. It's an extremely fun card :D
Funny story, a rogue I played against in wild unintentionally burned their mojo master and conceded (I was dueling a mill rogue as rush warrior. Sure, I burned a card, but it was only a Brawl)

For me so far my deck i made is, Miracle Yog'Thun Rogue, it's fun so far being 7/0 and dear lord so many people are running Survival and Embiggen, it's absurd

Went vs a Tickatus deck as pure pally and that deck is gonna def be tier 1. Burning 5 cards is one thing but burning 10 or even 15. The amount of anti aggro and good demon synergy they have now is just nuts. Warrior Paladin and Warlock def gonna be my 3 go to classes when I'm not doing duels

Yeah I ran into 4 locks last night. That card is beyond frustrating. I had one where he burned 5 cards and then the following turn used another old God and got his corrupted cards back and used it again. I think its pretty stupid this minion can burn a 3rd of yoir deck. Completely broken. I wouldn't mind it so much but they also have so many defensive and board clears that it feels almost impossible to burn them down before they quite literally fuck your deck. To top it off they had mad card draw so almost always have some sort of tool to deal with whatever it is you have on the board. I will leave a match from now on if I come across a warlock.
Yep. I was making my own decks and kept losing. I netdecked this Warlock burn deck and started destroying folk. Wasnt even satisfying as it was so easy. Card should be nerfed into almost oblivion. Should be 9 mana and burn 3 cards
@@purpleaki06 i agree. The card itself is cool but its a bit much. I looked into what this deck is and its insanely expensive. All four old gods. And a couple other lock legendaries. So roughly 6 or 7 legendaries all from darkmoon fair. I dont even think a face hunter or burst demon hunter can burn this deck down before it gets to fucking your deck. I think at the very least your suggestion should be implemented. I dont normally bitch but this deck seriously seems unstoppable.
We're too early into the expac. I fucking hate mill more than anybody and I'm a warlock main, and yet when I saw tickatus I felt it wouldn't actually be that good. I've seen too many cards that seem insane with an overstatted statline and even upside, that never took off as insanely as people thought. Remember grumble? There's *no way* an upstatted boulderfist that lets you replay your battlecries discounted wouldnt be played, and yet it was just used for the shudderwock combo
Yeah well, glad it's finally a control deck that gets some disgusting tools rather than it always being aggro, which is horrible to play against in itself. You might not get to draw your cards vs tickatus warlock but at least you get to play past turn 7.
Also it's very annoying and I agree it's poor game design to have a card like Tickatus in the game, but it's not as oppressive as say jade druid, which literally ruined the game for 2 years as no other control deck could be played because it instantly loses vs jade druid.

Enormous misplay there at the beginning by the hunter - if he just pushed the button instead of playing the dumb stealth thingy he had won

That game against Hunter is a good example of an average Aggro Hunter player IQ, waste the hero power on turn 1 for no reason instead of saving it to combo with the quest or Dragon Bane.
If you payed attention the hunter drew dragonbane on turn 3. Since he had no indication on t1 that he was gonna get it using up the heropower is probably still the best play. He just happened to get unlucky.
@@imaforceanature7297 The only reason why you should ever make that play is if you don't have a play for turn 2 other than hero power. The Hunter hero power could easily synergies with so many other cards and wasting it like that instead of planning a head is just a bad play.
Edit: Just notice Trump reaction, how he was shocked by that play.

I actually had to deal with Tickatus centered decks in ladder. They're pretty cool, and it's a big surprise when you realize what is going on.
Basically they want to draw it and keep copying with Felosophy. Hurts a lot when they get it.

While looking at the amount of legendaries in these decks, I think i am too poor to play the game with fun decks
Depending on what you consider “fun” you could either try random decks like evolve shaman or RNG mage, or if you find fun to be stomping innocent players in the ground just look up budget legend decks
@@Plebasaurus5179 i just miss the days when you could do any kind of deck with smt like 1-2 legendaries and classic set. Now if you want to play deck that involves playing around a certain theme, You need about 5-6 legendaries or you're stuck playing boring budget agro/zoo or rng decks to even see the cards you can't afford. I think I just needed to complain a little bit, remembering about good old days when you could reach legend with classic set
