Holy Crap....the part where you were revving the engine was sweet! The car was literally spitting at us. And I love the part about the air flow through the grill and out the hood. Never knew that
The aluminum wheels look better. I've seen ZL1s with both aluminum and black chrome and the black chrome just doesn't look right with every color. The one tested here is exactly like one i've seen in person and that's just awesome.
The Viper ACR did it in 7:22.00, not 7:12.00, and the current Record Holder is an english ultra light weight racing car called Radical SR8 RX which did it in under 6:55.00, and yes, it's an exclusive car, but it's street legal and a production car, it's a beautiful example for lightweight engineering The Top Five records on the Nordschleife were all set by european cars, none of which has more than 4.2l (or 257 CID) engine displacement, just think about it...
Nice video, but this guy really needs to get his facts straight. The LSA 6.2L comes out of the CTS-V, not the ZR1. The LS9 6.2L is in the ZR1. The major difference between the two besides power output, is the blower size -- the supercharger on the LSA is a TVS 1900, the one on the LS9 in the ZR1 is a 2300 TVS. GM engineering got 580 HP out of the LSA ( vs. the 556HP in the CTS-V) by modifying the blower and intercooler system.
Porsche GT2 RS (997): 7:18.00 ? and yes, 7 seconds are a huge difference, sorry, I love the design of the Camaro, but it's just not made for technical tracks, or serpentines lacking a manual transmission... But on our beloved Autobahn it's a killer, no doubt about that ;)
Why is CID important, All that matters in the end is Performance, MPG, Price, HP per Liter or CID are strictly bragging points, makes no difference on the track, It can have a 900 CID engine, But in the end , all that matters is Performance, MPG and Price. All that matters.
@The68VEEDUB just because u wanna know the price doesn't mean u can't afford it, many rich ppl ask the prices of their cars, it's common sense, even though they're rich, doesn't mean they wanna get ripped off for their car so chill out
If you have to ask how much it cost you obviously can't afford the damn car. If you go on Chevys website you can build one and see what the price is fully loaded.
You can just not be serious when comparing it to the R8 GT, I mean, the R8 is a real super car designed for going around real race tracks like the Nürburgring fast and efficient, compared to this bad handling Muscle Car designed for just going fast in a straight line...
I like how this car is sort of junk nowadays lol, that much power and having a 4 second 0-60 is pathetic. The new LT1 has considerably less HP and is just as fast
Its 2021 and I'd still take this over just about anything on the road today
Like this ZL1 more than the new one
It would be nice if these journalist read about their cars before they published this. The LSA is the Camaro's, the LS9 is the ZR1's.

My dream car

Nice! Can you post a video of it? I love classic monte carlo's! I would just pretend to be dale all day long!
i heard a few ppl saying the LSA 580HP output is under rated , is that true ? if so do u have an idea whats the actual output ?
The world hasn't changed, you've just gotten crazier. :)

Since when are forged connecting rods and dual exhaust manifolds tricks?

regurgitation comes to mind.
why, it originaly comes with manual transmission, for the automatic you'd have to pay 1185 $ more
Wow, me thinks I might actually prefer this over a BMW M5 (can't believe I said that). How the world has changed.

So you compared a 200,000 car vs at 50 grand car? Good one.
lol is someone really talking about an r8? cuz even the v8 model cost like 90 thousand dollars -_-
I think the mustang GT is a good V8 daily driver. The camaro just hard to drive. Though I really like the engine in this.
Nice!

You're right. Hating IS easy.
these journalists really DO NOT know what the fuck theyre talking about.....
No crossdrilled rotors? Man thats lame having all those upgrades and they dropped the ball on that!!!
my car cant wait to get it 13 years old will be 16 teen
thanks for clearing that up lol... Cause the engine was really "plucked directly from the Zr1" haha the guy really messed that up.
it does look like it said LSA though
"can use all year round", if u live in southern states that is lol. something tells me it wouldnt agree with snow very well.....
furious pete music. what.

Max Müller you’re a dumbass.
*NEW* exhaust manifolds ;D
Cool car but the matte black plastic isn't appealing to me.
It's not plastic, it's black suede.
My 1986 Monte Carlo SS will blow that out of the water
Thanks for pointing out the obvious.
This car looks like a cartoon character.
Less talk. More driving!
W00t im getting this when im 18!!111
iiiRollSushiii did you end up getting this car? Lol
@@jubeeish He is 9 today.
Did you get it? Hopefully you did
