I would start with berserker and torment for the very begining

I'm a mostly f2p necro. I use followers burden, berserker, power and command, caarsens, fervent fang and bloody reach. I find these are all fairly quick upgrades and work well with both summoner and pvp cc builds.

Bile is op for continuous damage builds, like fire golem + laser mages.., but nothing else,..

bones spikes stun (no mod), wraith fear (legs), golem stun (no mod), bone spirits fear ( new essence)

seeping bile for f2p/low spender necro is not very good imo.. it rarely proc and low dmg in open world/dungeon. I think the main use of this gem is to cancel potion in battleground..
