I've believed in the Lord Jesus ALL of my life. Since I was a child of 11 years old. No one told me at the time that I had to ACCEPT Him as Lord and Saviour in order to be saved. I have NEVER doubted in Who He IS. I KNOW and BELIEVE He rose from the dead. He IS the ONLY Way.
    That being said,
Why would I ever want to conduct myself in a way that I KNOW would be offensive or disappointing in His eyes????
It IS a conscious act of betrayal.
Do I sin? Yes. It grieves my heart when I do and I immediately and genuinely repent. I LOVE my Lord with all of my heart but also I LIVE in fear of His wrath.
    Is this normal?

Continue teaching the Enlightening Word, my brothers. There is so much misleading error today. Blessings.

2023/01/01 - Just saw this video today, and it was excellent. Yet I am astonished...this was put out in July 2019, viewed over 22000 times, and there's only one other comment on it!!?? Is it because ears aren't too tickled by it? My soul weeps at the condition of Christianity that fellow believers would not care enough to comment, even if they disagreed.
I was unsure of the OSAS position until I did (just completed) an in-depth study of the gospels. I was shocked at my own ignorance and further shocked when realizing what is being commonly preached. To believe that salvation is a 'one and done' prayer that requires nothing more from the believer is antithetical to every direct passage and parable in Math, Mark and Luke (I haven't done John yet). How can this be ignored by educated pastors?
I define 'works' as being 'anything we can do or is required of us' that is related to our receiving salvation when we die, and have come to the conclusion that whether works is a natural outflow from a regenerated heart - or - its a somewhat equal component with our faith leading to salvation - that a believer's life, if it is devoid of 'good works', is not in a 'saved' position. The parable of the unforgiving servant is an excellent example of this: A) being forgiven/saved B) disobeying God by then not forgiving those who trespass against us (an example of works as previously defined), and C) losing that 'saved' status - and there are many more verses that touch on the same theme.
P.S I hit the subscribe button and I hope you guys are still around. Not having any numbers responding can be very discouraging.

I was made very clearly aware of this “error” (False teaching!) after I had finally relented to many preachers pushing OSAS. I praise God for all of the examples you gave and more (Hebrews - grafted in, but able to cut off too, Ezekiel 33,34 - if the sinner turns from their way, repays what they have taken. keeps the covenant, they will be forgiven).
Pray everyday. Read the bible every day. Live as Jesus instructed us.

You both have done an excellent, dignified rebuttal to one of TV's most loved Baptist Evangelists. I agree with your rebuttal and want to stress how much I appreciate the way you've handled your response ...clarification without pride getting in the way. Thank you. Please do more videos.

Thank you for an excellent and informative program. In my reading of scripture, I have noted many passages, many that you have quoted here, that indicate a Christian can fall away from his faith and lose his salvation.

Thank you for this, so informative, been looking for content God's word about once saved always saved. Was talking with a Christian who disputed you can lose salvation, now I have lot's of scriptures to answer them on what God's word actually says. Bless you both.
