Liked those Cut dogs 76/77. Great memories. Too bad that one is too far gone. She got some good parts. Sorry Benny on your back. Got a bad one too. Sucks getting older.
I really like all the cars from the '70's. It always surprises me though how rare they have become in the yards and how beat-up and picked over they invariably are. I still remember when they were new! Watch your back man, one weird twist and you will be suffering for weeks!
I think there’s a line in a Sir Mix-a-Lot song about rollin’ to the swap meet in 7-6 Cutlass. One of my friends had one. We were rollin’ the 7-6 cutlass in the dollar store Canadian version of Mix-a-Lot’s song. 🙂
That Car looks solid yet ouside an Dam these were good ridding cars i have an engine out of one theses mine came out of a 75 or maybe it was a 76 i cant remember..it had a blue rocket 350..its now in my 79 olds cutdog..thats it thats the engine in that i have there a good engine might not be lot hp but they run forever ill bet that thing still runs..
Whoa Nelley, "A" and "G" body looking very shoddy. Yes, 1973 Pontiac Grand Prix with the VIN for the win: 2 for Pontiac, K for Grand Prix, 57 for two door hardtop, Y for 455 CID V8 with four barrel with dual exhaust, aka "Top of the Chiefs, Class of 1973", aka "455 comes alive", 3 for 1973 model year, A for Atlanta, GA assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Atlanta plant that assembled this car was located in Lakewood Heights, GA and closed in August of 1990 as previously mentioned. Exterior paint should be code 19 Starlight Black. When your back hurts, you feel like you just want to crawl into bed and stay there. 1976 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham with the VIN for the win: 3 for Oldsmobile, M for Cutlass Supreme Brougham, 57 for two door hardtop, R for 350 CID V8 with four barrel, Oldsmobile produced, aka "Mid-Size Rocket", aka "Staple of The Fleet", 6 for 1976 model year, R for Arlington, TX assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Arlington, TX plant still operates and produces SUVs. No tag, can't brag, but some can be figured out, no doubt: ST76 for 1976 model year, 3AM57 for Oldsmobile (3) Cutlass Supreme Brougham (AM) two door (57), R for Arlington, TX assembly, 13L for Inca Silver lower exterior paint, maybe 37T for Mahogany vinyl top, 37 for Mahogany cloth interior trim, 02A,B,C etc. for a given week of February 1976 production, among other codes. Whoa Nelley, two for one and they are done. "A" body belongs to nobody. That's it, time to quit. Colonnade about to go into the shade. Going to be flat and that's that. Lots of junk in the trunk. Division 3 and it's over for thee. Olds used to be gold. Cutlass Supreme needs a dream. Please don't get squished because all of the A and G body faithful, many here, Benny and for sure the Google Man are going to be very, very, very, very pissed.
When I think back for a vehicle, l never thought much about l owned 4 different Cutlass Supreme's . The last one had that dog of an engine 260, but it looked great.
