Would you say a law degree is necessary? I am currently an economics undergrad. that has always wanted a way into the industry.

Hey JD, was wondering if you could help me. i'm currently going to a community college and planning on transferring after two years. I have no idea what i want to do, but sports are my passion. Do you have any recommendations for jobs? Thanks!

TWhiite Hi T. Focus on what you're good at and what you enjoy doing. And by that I'm referring to the type of stuff that would happen in a job...You'll ultimately need to match the needs of a job with what you can deliver....if there's a match there and you enjoy delivering whatever that is, then it's something you want to chase. So if a job needs someone who is great with math and negotiating, then for that job to fit you, you'll want to be great with math and negotiating AND enjoy doing math and negotiating. If the use of your strengths and interests fits a job in the sports industry, then you can consider that path. But just saying sports is your passion....it could be playing sports...and you're probably not going to be a pro athlete...it could be watching sports...and anyone getting paid to WATCH sports probably has a different role with lots of other responsibilities....like coaching. So rather than chase a big-picture passion like sports, you want to chase a smaller passion like what you like to do every day that's the type of activity that's done in a job. Hopefully that makes sense.

I want to know if sport agents would be able to help their clients(off court) start their own business? Like finding the team, ceo, market research etc. or what business advice would that sports agent provide their client wanting to go the entrepreneurial route to create off court currency?
