Google lied about using the Latest Arm cpu… the G3 uses X3 which is 2022. The current gen is X4 which is from June this year.

Is this because people are playing games or every day use? As I am not playing big games on my phone so I don’t have any heating issues on my phone and to fair to Google they don’t ever mention gaming power as it’s not there focus. AI is there focus.
You forgot speed dude... flagship level prices for mediocre processors are not justified!!
IF it's performance is less than or equal to snapdragon 8+ gen 1 ..i would happily pay not more than 699.$USD for the pro model

Google hides performance metrics.
Google has always said that their phones are not dedicated to super high performance but AI technologies.
Remember that a smartphone can be good based on its optimization and not only the performance or numbers within their clusters.
I honestly don't care as long as it's smooth. I don't play any games except GeometryDash

Now that I think about it , I can’t think of anybody who really plays any games on their phones other than the occasional candy-crush or other similar game types that don’t push the gpu/cpu. Most phones nowadays will run the majority of applications just fine. It’s just that small percent that actually uses their phones to their absolute extreme potential, which again I’d say is far and few between.
These phones are not for gaming. Are for tech enthusiasts that don't care about gaming in a phone when computers and consoles are available.
Hopefully the G3 will finally address the overheating, battery life, connectivity, call quality and fix those software bugs and glitches. AI and camera features mean absolutely nothing to me if the core basics of the phone don’t work properly.
it won't. Don't expect this until 2025 when TSMC produces the new Pixel chip.
In India, Pixel 8 base variant is priced at 75999 INR, which directly converts to 912 USD. Many people will decide not to buy it here with that price.

Dude this is a 9 core chip with the highest core as cortex x3 that would give raw power and gaming and everything, also battery efficient processors too. So this chipset is a game changer.
We don't know how energy efficient it is.
I'm always a pixel fan boy. But unfortunately these newly pixels are isn't in my destiny because I can't afford.😢

there will be heating and less efficient issues as long as they have Samsung manufacturing their chip. Google must switch to TSMC to get much better efficiency.

Me watching this 0:56 on my pixel 6 with half the machine learning models 😮
The most important tests are often never done which is signal tests and uptime tests. The Exynos modems for the Pixel 6 and 7 had major network issues. Had a Pixel 6 dozens of times a day no signal at all up to 20 minutes at a time on both ATT and T-Mobile even in populated cities around DFW. Same sim cards in a $50 UMX phone didn't have those issues. Got it RMA'ed same exact issue with a different Pixel 6 device inspected. Others had 3+ RMA's and just ended up giving up selling the phone for a loss or traded it in which is what I had to do too. Google only offers to keep doing RMA's. Every review for every phone should do signal DBM comparisons and other tests that are the main point of a phone.

the only thing keep me resisting to buy a pixel is it's processor. in my case, I need a very powerful processor.

Google tensor has upseted me. The first generation is easily to be over-heated. The performace is just above 865.

Tensorchips are a failure, they're piss poor in efficiency. Go for A17 or Snapdragon gen3, they're class

If the G3 still uses Exynos modem, it's a piece of crap. If a phone can't even make a call, it's not worth buying at all.
It's much worse than snapdragon 8 gen 2. Not that much of a big improvment from the G2. These guys are focused to much on AI

It’s a very high risk purchasing a hardware made by Google. They are always overpriced and not at all worth it. In India, the exchange price of a Redmi phone offered for a pixel phone was roughly around $200 and apple including other brands were offering $70 😂. Any product made by Google are insanely overpriced and definitely not worth it. I have used chromecast gen 1 which I felt was ok at that time but terrible audio output. Then I bought Gen 3 and returned on the same day, yes terrible audio quality. Firestick Max does the job far better than google chrome cast. I sold pixel 6a within a week due to over heating! Google won’t do proper R&D and they only concentrate on “Software experience “. These guys shud learn Apple and Samsung!

@@tuapuikia in a XDA forum we already investigated about it, the phone has a controller for the battery and this controller in random cases will report empty, another issue is overheating same effect, another issue is rebooting then soft-locking (which is the most common one).
the solution in most cases: change the battery which outside of the US no one does and / or is very costly...

Yes same happened with me a bettery issue only works while on charger and the battery keep changing from 100 to 0 in a second. Please hire for skills not diversity
