Max is back with Bloodborne yet again, but this time, not only is it modded to run at a silky smooth 60 frames per second...but every boss and enemy in the game has been randomized! You're gonna need a ton of Insight to prepare for this insanity!

What I like about Maximilian Dood is that when he plays a randomizer he will investigate everything at least once. All the other RUclipsrs/streamers are like "Hey y'all we got a new randomizer here. Let's check it out and see what's new!" (Runs past literally everything)
Ikr? Because Max isn’t a casual lol. I find myself doing the same thing you do, SMH when other gamers/streamers just sprint right past everything. Max on the other hand, he has one of those “gamer” brains where he picks up on things that nobody else notices.
most randomizers its literally random, every drop is rolled when you grab it vs this mod where it is all placed when it starts. It depends on how the mod does it. In some cases it is actually worthless to pick up everything and look
Yeah it's the best way to do it, especially for one of your favorite games of all time.

These are probably already recorded, but I’m pretty sure that when the bosses randomizes the second phase, there has to be a model change for it to swap bosses. So Blood-Starved Beast being second form Orphan of Kos the entire fight was because the BSB’s second phase is a fighting change. Just the two cents of a game Dev student.
That's how it works yer. The game has both models loaded in at the start with the phase 2 model loaded under the map. When it's time they swap positions and it's hidden underneath some effects.

it's a damn mod with reduced resolution that somebody made, Sony and Fromsoft can take a day and make a 4k 60fps update but they won't, it's crazy.

@@ka7al958 as a programmer, no its really not, BB would take at least two years for the res increase (also not reduced res, max literally says ta the beginning of the video that the res on ps pro was upscaled to 1080p . so uh way to listen/
@@IsaacSperrow ts more like when the ownership of sony being jp based to being american based killed a lot of stuff like that- actually if u look ay when Sony got bought out, they immediately started to chase trends and lose any individuality they may have possessed. Sony has been going downhill since then as has MS trying to buy them into bankruptcy
I really appreciate when people actually fight the enemies when they do randomized runs of these games. Most of the time on youtube, the only people you do randomized runs are speedrunners who never fight anything except the bosses, completely defeating the point of the randomizer in the first place.

2:24:20 is so sweet, just kinda touches a "core" memory for me. My dad was playing games when my siblings and I were kids too and there's just things that scare them (that Resident Evil intro where the zombie leans up from the bed, and the bunny at the end of Doom are burned into my brain) so it's important to have that support for them when something does. Also thanks Max for Bloodborne pc release, maybe for 10 year anniversary, Sony, pretty please?

It still hurts my soul that Fromsoft refuses to print money for minimal effort by remastering this game and releasing it on PC. At least i have a PS5 to play it on, even if 30fps only, but it truly sucks for PC players.

Huh...if an enemy that is capable of killing other enemies, kills the carrier of your echoes, will steal those echoes for themselves and the effect will transfer to them....thats actually a neat detail.

1:56:00 I think it's based on gascoignes transformation - from phase 1 gascoigne being Maria to phase 2 gascoigne being Ludwig.
Marias phases are based on her overall health and therefore didn't transform into something else
she also doesnt swap her model. Gascoigne literally becomes another entity when he transforms, while maria is still the same NPC with different attack animations.

Honestly I think remaster/remake is more likely than a sequel. They could get bluepoint to rock it out like Demons Souls. Imagine how beautiful that would look.

@@okamimemos1716 Umm no, I literally only sold him my PS4 Pro (I didn’t update it for over a year). Max modded himself, he just needed a specific firmware on it. 9.0 and below for it to work.

Max seemed to win the randomizer lottery: got almost every DLC boss in the early stages of the game (I think Living Failures was the only one missing, outside of the separate phases of Ludwig/Maria/Orphan).
I clicked this so fast I didn't even look at the timestamp. Before I knew it, it was 4am. Thank you for 6 straight hours of hilarious chaos!

You still need to hit up lies of P if you haven't, it has its own spin on things but they openly say BB is alot of where their inspiration came from.

hell yes more randomizers and of course more bloodborne. more souls games and mods in general! there's an awesome one for dark souls 2 called seeker of fire that not only remixes the worlds but also changes some of the mechanics a bit (like fixing attacking out of rolls).

The commentary from Max is great "I got a dude with a shotgun, an a-hole with a meat-stick, and the biggest spider ever seen"
Not locking on to normal enemies is that slight flex that Max does to remind you he's played the game a lot, him missing his attacks and taking damage for it is the game reminding him that you can never have played this game enough.

The soundtrack of this game still among the best.
My favourite weapon in this game was the gun rapier. I used to destroy people with the transform attack to bait them to attack then parry them. Since it was a bloodtinge weapon too the visceral attack would do a shit ton of damage and one shot most people in PvP. Love it
Visceral damage scales with skill.
It's crazy BSB was one of the reasons why I almost quit this game. Just couldn't beat him. And then, one day, I did and Bloodborne became my 3rd favorite game of all time.

Something about seeing this after playing through Lies of P just convinces me even more that Sony is absolutely insane for not making another bloodborne.
Miyazaki probably wanted several suitcases of money drop on his front door first and Sony don't want to do that. My theory is thats why curious there is no remaster for the first game too. FS wants a lot of money for it, Sony says nah.
I guarantee you it's not a money issue, it's most likely just creative differences with what they've been focusing on for their futures, for example Sony seems to be pushing games as a service bigtime so there's no way they'll bother with a soulslike rn. And FromSoft are probably experimenting with new games in general
@@okamimemos1716 More importantly, developing games takes time. The Demon's Souls remake was done by Bluepoint probably because FS was busy with Elden Ring and AC6. So at the very least, there are something going on over there at FS that we don't know. They most likely are already in the middle of development of their next couple of games. I'm sure we get a game announcement within a year.
I don't get why most players hate idea of having a optional randomizer for a video game. I personally love them.
No one hates randomisers, you either feel indifferent or you like them.
Honestly seeing as all soulslike games work really well with randomizers they should definitely start adding it as an option. Also metroidvanias can definitely work with it aswell (although some items might need to stay locked for game progress purposes)
@okamimemos1716 Maybe not work well, there's clear indicators that enemies glitch out. It requires a fair amount of extra work to figure out all the kinks of a randomizer.

You can get them super early by killing Eileen, it’s just really hard lol
