God is Love. Love is to give one's.self to another. The Father gives Himself to Christ , His Son. The Son gives Himself to his Father. The husband gives Himself to his wife; the wife to her husband. Both give themselves to their family; to their children; the children to their parents. Love is always to another. To turn love to one's own self is a heresy. A mistake. God ( The Father) loves Christ, the Son. Both divine persons give themselves to us; to each of us; the mankind. The Holy Spirit ;the life of God, the divine love; poured Himself to each other ; and unto us; and includes us in their divine love; to Adam and Eve and their children. We, each of us, loves God in return; God , He , Who loves us and our parents. The angels love God and serve God; the angels are the created spiritual image of perfection of divine holiness of God. And all of that is what we are celebrating till the end of our earthly life ; unto eternity. We are.created into the image of God and His love.
