Ok. I am sitting in my car waiting (procrastinating) going into the dentist and it is so sunny and warm. I watched this video and I have decided that I want to be Jennifer McGuire. I want to have all of your toys and your craft room and most importantly your talent. Is that too much to ask for 😉. I would settle for your talent. You are so incredibly talented and you amaze me each and every day. You are always posting new videos and you make us (me) feel that we too can create what you are working on. You seem to be able to instill confidence in me. Believe me that is not an easy accomplishment either. I want to once again thank you for all that you do for me (us). You truly are an amazing human being. Not only in the crafting world but the world in general. May God continue to bless you Jennifer!!
104-106 degrees today and tomorrow here in the Southwest desert...great to stay indoors with air conditioning and make shaker cards using tulle!!! Thanks so much for tips and know-how and your kind and helpful teaching manner :-)
You are THE most creative card maker. I don't make cards (I'm a scrapbooker) but I always stop what I'm doing to watch whatever video you upload. You have truly found your calling and you amaze me with the ideas you come up with. Thank you for always sharing great content!
I can't wait to do this😀. I made the other one for a lady at work and it made her cry. She said it was the best birthday ever. She's 60 and takes care of her parents and anything to lift her day makes all the more reason to make homemade cards. Thanks for your inspiration and ideas. I also wish I had your creative jean and craft room, lol
You have no idea how happy your videos make me! Everytime I see a new one in the feed I get all excited! You are so creative! Please don't stop doing them! 💙
Your creativity has no ends which is great for all of us who love to watch your videos. People who say crafters aren't artists just need to watch one of your videos to be swayed otherwise (and especially this one to see you cutting up a sequin to mimic leaves). Whenever I have artists' block, I end up on your channel even though we do totally different things. Thank you for what you do.
I wish I could think of one perfect word to describe you....wait! I've got it AMAZING! It's been said before I know. Been card-making for about 18 years [done mostly 'old school style--everything done by hand] and You, impress me! Thanks for teaching, sharing and caring. [Applause!!!!!]
Don't we all want to be Jennifer McGuire? I know I do! She is my inspiration gal! You never cease to amaze your following with each and every video, even the short, simple ones. The two cards are absolutely elegant and I feel they would make wonderful Mother's Day cards. Thank you for more beauty in our stamping world!
Two years ago I purchased the Neenah premium metallic cardstock for my Christmas card project. Well I did not use it and it has been sitting in my stash ever since. Because of your demonstration I went looking for my card stock and I will use it on this months Birthday cards. Thank you for reminding me to use my stash.
I used to do a lot of stamping but stopped ,but this has really got my crafting throbes going and I cant wait to get to my stash of Altenew stamps and perfect pearls etc. Really interesting and enjoyable videos and easy to follow and I am so glad that I bought the Altenew stamps that were used as I can get going straight away.
Beautiful cards, love the use of tulle for a shaker card that's not too bulky. I donate cards to a local charity for fundraising so always looking for ideas to make pretty cards that are economical to produce. Thanks, as always, for sharing your amazing talent Jennifer.
Finally got around to trying this tulle technique - I’ve loved and made shaker cards for a while now - but holy moly this is a game changer! Flat is where it’s at lol, because this certainly opens the door for sending shaker cards in the mail. Thank you so much for the tutorial, Jennifer!
Ditto what Susan said. Of course I have been saying for years that I want to be just like you when I grow up! Ha! That's funny because I'm old enough to be your mother! With that said - thanks again for another great technique. I think I'm going to make a tulle shaker today.
I haven't tried to make shakers yet. I love this one. The softness is awesome. It would be a lovely bridal shower card or Mothers Day card. Thanks for bringing another wonderful idea.
Love how the tulle really does soften the effect of the shaker window. Can't wait to try it. I have plenty of tulle from making tutus for my granddaughters.
I agree with Susan Brozek. You are amazing. I absolutely love watching your videos. Your amazing talent always impresses me. Thank you for spreading your wealth of knowledge!!!!
I just found you and am completely addicted, I love your elegant, but fun designs and most importantly, your professionally done videos that get right to the point with so much education, inspiration and awesome talent! Thank you! You renewed my dying interest in card making! No need to listen to endless droning from others, when you have it all right here on your channel!
Everytime I watch one of your videos I get so hyped up and want to immediately go work on a card. I even got an Amazon Firestick so I can watch your videos on the big screen tv and follow along if I want to. I never would've thought to do what you did to the second card, love it! You're amazing!
Funny, I'm sitting here finishing off some Mother's Day cards and want the one for my mom to be extra special, and your video comes up on my feed. Perfect timing! I had wondered if anyone had used tulle yet for shakers, and nowI have my answer! Thank you for posting your tutorial, as always so very beautiful and professionally done. I will see what I can make for my mother today!
What an amazing idea. I am fairly new to this wonderful hobby and I am so pleased to find your instructions that are so easy to follow. I made one of these yesterday, my first shaker card, and I am so pleased with the way it turned out. You are such a talented person and I am so appreciative not only that you share it with so many of us but you uplift many of us who suffer with depression. Thank you.
Hello Jennifer, We all know you are crazy...CRAZY GOOD! lol, wish I had a tenth of your card making ingenuity! Than You once again for opening my eyes to something new and cool! Happy Mother's Day to you :) Laura
Thanks Jennifer for showing me another way to use tulle because I went out and bought some to make a card like your last example. It was fun and I think I'll try this too.
What a GREAT idea to use tulle! I have some tulle in my craft room just sitting there doing nothing! Just love how creative you are Jennifer and that you so willingly share your talent with us. You inspire me!
Love these cards - this is an awesome idea!! I feel like I have a few saved random pieces of tulle - and now I can put them to use!! How exciting. Thank you, Jennifer, for being such an inspiring lady - and for sharing the knowledge/tips! Totally awesome!
I really enjoyed this video showing shaker cards. You have inspired me to have a go. I hope your tips give me a much better shaker card than I have done previously Thank you so much
Wow! What a great idea and video. Love the ideas and can't wait to try them. You are number 1 in my thoughts of cardmakers. Love and prayers for many more Jennifer videos. Thanks.
I am floored by this video and technique!! Who knew this and how did you come up with this idea of tulle? I adore this idea and I have lots of tulle sitting in my craft room, so bring on the shaker cards!!! Thank you so much, I already have an idea for a wedding card for my nephews up coming shower
Hi Jennifer, Thank you so much for sharing. I so needed a what I would call "feel good moment" and your video was just what I needed to lift my spirits you really made my day. I am for sure going to try and make a shaker card. Blessings.
This is a great shaker option. I like it much better than acetate. I'll be doing it soon. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent and inspiration with us. Love to your Hubby and children, tell Lila I said Hi, Grandma Sharon
Wow this is such a stunning design!!! I went to a craft show in 2023 and one of the make and takes was a tulle shaker card. This video is 7 1/2 years old.... so that technique is still going strong! I cannot get to Studio Katia, Chrome is blocking it. Ugh. That inverted dotted scalloped edge circle die is gorg and I'd like to get it. It's not easy finding tulle that has a tiny weave like that! I did end up making one but apparently the confetti I used as fill had some that was too small and was falling out all over the place. I had to shake it upside down for 5 minutes to get all the tiny bits out. LOL!!!
I absolutely love your videos and this idea. I was so excited about it I tried the idea as soon as I watched the video.one word of caution-you might want to put your sentiment on the front before assembling your card. I melted the edge of my tulle while heat embossing 😩.i plan to try the idea again though! Thanks so much for your inspiration and for sharing your talent with all - it is not only a gift to us but to the recipients of our cards.
WOW, your talent is amazing!! This tool shaker is awesome, I never would have thought to use tool. Great idea and a beautiful card. Thank you for a great tutorial.
That is so amazing. I have lots tulle. Thank you for sharing working with tulle. Yes, I want to be Jennifer too. When I become young as Jennifer I will be Jennifer McGuire too. 😍♥️
7 years ago?!? And, fresh, relevant & beautiful, as always! Thx, Jennifer; you are VALUE VALUE.
I LOVE THIS SHKER CARD! So much simpler and less fuss than using the clear dimensional bowl.

Where in the world do you come up with such wonderful, fun ideas? You amaze me with your talent. What a blessing you are to us all!!! :)
What a neat idea, I keep watching your videos instead of making cards. You make it look so easy.

What a wonderful idea to use tulle in this way! Thank you for sharing it.
Instead of a circle to cover back of flower, you could do another flower so card looks same inside and out.
Could also stamp the flower on velum and colour both sides.
Thank you so much for posting these for us to view. You and Kristina Werner are absolutely amazingly talented. God Bless! :)
I know exactly what you mean. I find myself trying to make cards like them and get so confused lol
Thanks so much, Jennifer, for this great idea! I love it! The flowers are so pretty and easy to do!
