great bout. Ever since he shoved that opponent a few years back and didn't get the black card he deserved, these losses are satisfying to some viewers. Imrek has some cool moves and great timing. Impressive.

@@Dookieryan yes. I get the drama on the strip; sometimes it's quite entertaining (saber especially) but he is a poor sport. There's also a good bout in a team even recently, US epee against Canada, and he was humbled there as well. Sorry, I get perverse satisfaction when that happens.

Curtis is a great guy, but I do admit he goes too far more than often when on the fencing strip in competition.

@@christopherbartlett8100 Being a bad sport in a athletic competition does not indicate someone's morality and overall personality as a person. Yes, it can hint to how someone behaves overall, but it's not definite and it only shows a very small fraction of that person. I can also say this as someone who knows Curtis personally and all the other FC fencers. Curtis, off the fencing strip is a nice and charitable man, he's not obnoxious and doesn't think of acting this way at all towards his clubmates. Despite how he may behave on the fencing strip, as are others like Dwight Smith, I admit they can be too much sometimes as FC men's épée fencers are known for, but they are overall great people. You also have to assume that the intense stress and rush of emotions in a large-scale competitive environment is having it's effect, which it absolutely does. Everyone has acted out of bounds at least once or twice after losing a frustrating bout, it's normal and just because they act that way on the strip doesn't mean they're always like that outside of fencing. It's likely Curtis was affected by this, but while not an excuse for his behavior, it doesn't mean he's always like this outside of the fencing strip. It's silly to assume that a person is morally a degenerate just because they're not a good sport, which is still a bad thing, but it's incredibly insignificant in comparison to their overall rationale and behavior.

CURTIS is a BORE. Fencing can reveal your character. Whining annoying low level fencer whose antics should be forgotten.

The way he plays reminds me of a fighting game player trying to humiliate his opponent instead of just playing.

5:56 I was wondering this. it seems like his(curtis's) movement is just really stagnant except for when he fleshes.
