Thanks for helping keep his legacy alive. He only made the cleanest LSD as well as the greatest sound systems ever. I would say his existence was quite meaningful, important and like a great wind blowing all psychedelic realities forward with integrity. Blessings.
My first trip was purple Owsley, but I always wondered who threw out the freebies at the GD concerts. Of course they weren't the only concerts where weed and acid were free.
Dude, thanks for the upload, this was on the Internet Archive forever, but then suddenly was gone. Glad to see it's back online, I've listened to this possibly hundreds of times now
Man doesn't seem like the interview with the kid out at Keseys farm is on RUclips anymore. It was from 89 or something and he explains the whole ice age theory. Still the best theory on glacier formations that I've heard. It got posted to RUclips like the day after he died
@@deadseatransform yes but it's on an SD card at my ex wife's house so we can scratch that idea. Sorry man, I am certain it's gotta be on the net somewhere though. Peace.
I love how this guy is a just real down to earth dude. I honestly expected a little more of a radical personality. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. Seems like someone I could talk to for hours... RIP Owsley
This interview made me realize i am in love and attacted to anything to do with Telepathy. Jazz and Acid i find telepathy i crave as i had a special bond with my Dad and 2 siblings thru childhood trauma we found a way to hold hands and communicate, when the parents argued we were put in a room and told not to talk , the walls have ears. So we held hands and talked without voice. I lost that and the only way i get a taste of that is thru Jazz music and the communication of the musicians and Acid or 5meo-dmt or 1p lsd and a good dose of mushrooms
He did many things, tried many things learned from it, did what he wanted to do - and had a rare thing people lack, which is a sense of reason beyond the confines of the boxed in unreasonable world. If you want to learn stuff learn it, and if you want to exist have an opinion thats truly origional truly reasonable - and be interested in a diverse array of things get interested and do things, experience and learn.
BEAR was a genius..this guy knows something about EVERYTHING..he obviously was one of the producers of some of the the purest LSD ever made(Melissa Cargill helped him so she deserves credit also)and he taught Tim Scully who was one of the guys that made the famous orange sunshine acid..Bear actually destroyed alot of his acid making it purer but the the purity was more important than any amount of money to him and that is rare stance for a drug producer to take! The reason he even started making LSD is that he wanted to be sure that what he and his friends were taking was of the highest possibly quality and thats CRAZY! Lol..he thought the more pure thr LSD was the more important and spirtual the experience was and he was right IMO..of all the people in history I would pick this guy to sit down and talk with if I could..he was an enigma for sure. I would also like to talk to Leonard Pickard. But in my opinion there should be a Owsley Stanley day just like there is a Martin Luther King day..he was that important to history to me...
Research on this idea -Neuralink, was conducted in the 1950’s long before Owsley ever spoke about it. NIH & NIMH gave out grants for this research to several researchers one being the famous John C. Lilly.
Orange sunshine was LONG gone by 1990 man..and Orange sunshine came in pill form ONLY not in blotter! Made by Nick sands and Tim Scully in 1969 and distributed by the brotherhood of eternal love or hippy mafia!
@@chrishendricks1160 Interesting. I appreciate you setting me straight. Yeah, whatever I got at Dominguez was blotter on this perfect orange colored paper that had just been made for that West Coast run from Dominguez through Eugene. I can still recall how vivid & special it was. No other blotter ever came close, in the 4 or 5 years I dosed. Anyway, thanks again for the history lesson.
I think he was murdered. I think there is some funny business about the crash site, but I have never heard about what really happened, just he drove off the road...???? sounds weird to me.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 ..what'ju talkin' 'bout Willis...? It seems that this guy was being watched and followed like Jimi, Jim, Janis, Jerry, Ken, all these standouts were being targeted. So, that's why I feel the way I feel about this accident. And I wish there was a way for me to learn more about the details of the accident.
Who killed rock n roll? Judging by how they try to own the rights to our (the musicians) music and the fact that they are against weed but send their fentanyl here to poison everyone I'd say China is to blame. We need to bomb them before they take all we have left. They wanna kill and enslave us at any cost. They mind control and traffic their own people. Dose em on LSD and bomb them with weed smoke.
@@johnstallings4049 you know its true. Not all chinese are bad but we clearly got a problem on our hands. Step out of your house once and a while and you mmight see how bad it actually is.
