I am surprised they didn't mention Cousins. He will be a free agent after this season, and it a highly under rated QB. And this is coming from a Lions fan.
Sadly I don’t think Aaron will ever return. I tore my right ACL twice, once playing football when I was 12 and again playing basketball when I was 16. It’s hard to come back from but my senior year of high school I tore my Achilles and that was it for me, there was no return. It took me 2 years of rehab and slowly working on myself before I trusted my achilles to do anything let alone play sports and I was young. Rodgers is up there in age, he’s extremely intelligent, we are going on numerous consecutive years of him flirting with the idea of retirement sadly I just don’t think in his eyes the pros will outweigh the cons post surgery when he realizes how heard it actually is
Why are you conveniently leaving out the row between Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay management as at least part of the reason he was "90%" retired at the end of last season?
For those who forget including brou apparently, the NFCC against the bucs the packers had the lead and rodgers had an 150 passer rating driving down the field before the pic 6 which was the most clear jersey pull by a db to make up ground i'd ever seen. The receiver (i think it was lazard) had a step on the DB and rodgers threw it right at his hands when the DB pulled lazards jersey to propel himself in front of the ball and take it to the house. After that kevin king let that little guy run behind him on a clear hail mary situation right before half time to give the bucks a 2 touchdown lead. In the 3rd quarter brady came out and threw 3 interceptions while rodgers was on fire. Green bay marched down to the bucs 4 yard line down more than field goal with less than 2 minutes left and had 4th and goal at home with the MVP at QB and gave up on him at the goal line and opted for a field goal in hopes that the defence could prevent tom brady of all people of getting ONE first down..they then had tampa to 3rd and long where brady threw a pass 5 yards over the head of his receiver where kevin king also commited a terrible jersey pull, except this one got called to ice the game...aside from a pic 6 which was a clear penalty, rodgers played as perfect as he could have and deserved the win. This is just one of the many games rodgers "lost" in the playoffs while playing well. San fran in 2012-2013 he played great and watched colin kaepernick have two of the best post season performances ever, 2016 against atlanta he played pretty well but the defence allowed 48 points, even 2014 against seattle considering he was injured on 1 leg against the best defence in history in a building nobody had won at in over 2 years, rodgers entire post season career failures have so much context around them. The only "bad" game you can say he had was against the bears in 2010 where they won anyway because he FINALLY got help at the end of the game from someone else (Raji). 2011 against the giants he got sacked 9 times while NY never rushed more than 4 guys.. the last NFCC against san fran he was moving the ball well on both opening drives and had adams and jones both fumble the ball in san fran territory, and those who remember that game will remember san fran being up 28-0 at half time having controlled 80% of the time clock and rushing for over 200 yards before half time..rodgers has 4 post season overtime losses, 3 of which he tied the lead on historic plays only to never see the ball in overtime
The fact that the 49ers ran the ball 8 times and beat up in the NFC championship game, makes one think ots the play calling and defense and rodgers wasn't the issue in green bay
When Arod. Came out of the darkness, he found the Packers didn't want him... he has something to prove! This injury in game 1... he has something to prove!
I personally don't believe he'll play again & think he himself knows as much. But, also understand why he'd say he would or hint towards as much. ... Saying that he's done right now simply wouldn't play well publicly

That’s an opinion saying that’s a fact doesn’t make it a fact slow poke🤓🤡
@@chasetullar2732 no, it’s not an opinion. He is objectively more talented and more productive than any other QB mentioned. Sorry that you don’t know what’s facts are.
Long time Packer fan. Rodgers was done several years ago. feasted off lackluster divisional play his entire carer. He played HERO ball one to many times. 3 step drop = get the ball out on the 3rd step and he could not do it.... Had to play hero and look around per the usual over the last several years.
The problem with "just bring in x player" Who is better? Wilson his been here and knows the system. Nick said Jacoby???? Like for someone to be better than Zach they actually have to be better. Don't just go and sign anybody.
Wilson has not been healthy for the last two seasons. You realize Boyle is the backup. They need a veteran backup
His arm has always been good with bad footwork I believe in a comeback
Good luck Zach facing that Cowboys defensive line. That's going to be an absolute sack fest
Aaron Rodgers fr think he Superman 😂😂😂
If you find any pleasure whatsoever in Rodgers getting hurt then you need to do some deep soul searching and maybe work on becoming a better person..
If I had more faith in our newly acquired qb I would love if we traded cooper rush for a decent pick to the jets but he's a good backup option for us. I bet he'd be able to take that jets team to the playoffs.
Kap would be a good pick up. Mobile, big arm, and chip on shoulder with something to prove. The timing is right. "DO IT......DO IT......DO IT", (in the voice of Ben Stiller from Starsky and Hutch)
I am surprised they didn't mention Cousins. He will be a free agent after this season, and it a highly under rated QB. And this is coming from a Lions fan.
Really unfortunate bro got hurt how & when he did
Bring a veteran qb in as a backup to mentor him
Nick stop it with Trey Lance.
Give him ‘HIMS’ he shall rise no doubt. 😂
I don’t care about the jets and I don’t care about ARod but him going out like that is painful.
Brees and Brady were good it got really tough after that….
Rodgers is up there in age, he’s extremely intelligent, we are going on numerous consecutive years of him flirting with the idea of retirement sadly I just don’t think in his eyes the pros will outweigh the cons post surgery when he realizes how heard it actually is
Any 4 year drop with 2 mvps and Jen do those years you aren’t playing isn’t a drop.
Look! It's Opera Man!
If the jets have given up on the season, then let Zach play. If they still want to try and make a run at the chip, gotta bring someone else in.
Too much has been done for them to cut ties they just have to roll with the punches and hope he is as good as it seems
Get up to speed Chris, Hack has already said ARod is coming back, and if anyone other than ARod would know, it's Hack.
Brou is going to hurt himself trying so hard to backtrack on his own takes. At least he's not screaming like a toddler.
The "experts" speaking in hypotheticals
Wildes…how did that Belichickian mindset work out when they cut ties with Brady?
Wildes just wants zach Wilson to start so the patriots arent in last 😭🤣
Why are you conveniently leaving out the row between Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay management as at least part of the reason he was "90%" retired at the end of last season?
Get Chad Henne to come out of retirement for the JETS. Money talks.
This isn’t DC Comics Aaron
bro.. people obviously mean he can’t go out with 4 snaps after all that jets hype.. nick is so extra😭🤦🏻♂️
We watched TO come back by The Super Bowl does Rogers have enough time to come back and rehab to play in the post season?
No dummy
Sam Donald refers to Bill Belichick as Baba Yaga
The fact that the 49ers ran the ball 8 times and beat up in the NFC championship game, makes one think ots the play calling and defense and rodgers wasn't the issue in green bay
Rodgers does love to use vague words
The same way jets had “no chance” Vs the bills Nick is acting like they have no chance vs the cowboys
Nick is Wright. Watch the all22 of Wilson against the Bills. No wonder they can’t score.
