Making Fiber Wads for Shotshells

MSL "Sonopan II" comes in 4' x 8' x 3/4" sheets. This fiber is Eco-friendly and non toxic. Most of the plugs come out well but there are areas where the fiber is less dense and the wad doesn't come out at 3/4". They are stackable so any custom load can be developed.

I've wondered about using acoustic ceiling tiles from those hung ceilings. I bet that would work quite well.

I like the idea of biodegradable wads. Good idea making your own wads.

Great video, I've been eyeing that stuff in the store.... Canada's a PITA to get components. I'm thinking of laminating costco packing cardboard for nitro wads. I think I'll clear off my lathe and make a cutter for brass shell wads.
