Yes, there is widespread hunger in the land due to a lack of a radical and aggressive approach toward revolutionizing the present archaic farming method. No serious country will entrust its food supply source to another country. Massive illiteracy and ignorance among the general populace play a major role in the country's underdevelopment.

Before APC came to power in Nigeria in 2015, how modernized was the farming method but were Nigerians hungry as they are today. The insecurity situation is the primary cause of food insecurity in Nigeria. There were millions of subsistent farmers across the country prior to 2015 when APC came to power, but Nigerians were not as hungry as they are today. People cannot go to their farms and harvest their produce without risking of being kidnapped, raped even murdered. Fulani herdsmen, roam across the country with their cows destroying people's farmlands and crops and BUHARI'S government did nothing to protect citizens.
