So I’m having a issue with my clock spring on a Infiniti g35. 2004. My question is that I noticed on this video, he didn’t have to turn the clock spring to make sure that it was centered. Do I not have to do that ? I’ve seen other videos where someone is turning it to make sure the device is centered. My slip and vdc off light keeps turning on. I also found out from a mechanic when plugging there computer to my car, when they turned the wheel the computer didn’t detect the wheel turning as far as “degrees” example 3 degrees to the left of that make sense it stood at 0. Is there anything else that can cause this ?
you can count how many time the clockspring turn, example 7 rotation, you can make 3 turn more (half of 7) to make it center. for vdc off, you can check that sensor of vdc and maybe replace it and you can reset sensor with computer on workshop, and vdc does'nt have any effect for spooring to make all tire centered and align. hello i have a 2003 evo 8, i need clockspring replacement, i can only find used clockspring, can i put that in or i need new one? and after install how do i shut off SRS light?
babaz771 yes absolutely you can try that used clockspring, but make sure connector and flexyble cable on inside clockspring not broken. counting how many rotation from left to right and you can position on middle half of total rotation. or you can try search new one in aliexpress. To reset srs signal must be reseting by OBD scanner, or you can try release the battery for half an hour.
saludos tengo una L200 del 2005 me presenta en el tablero los siguientes codigo juntos srs, dtc. el signo de bateria, y un baso rojo que puede ser eso ayudenme..
