Pretty sweet man... Did you have to install traction bars in the rear to get rid of axle wrap? My chevy half-ton only has 3 inch block and it wraps like crazy... granted those springs aren't as stiff as a super-duty's.
I am between a 4 and 6 inch lift. How does this thing drive on the street? I do a lot of traveling and don't want to ruin my highway ride. What do you suggest?
if thats the case then how come they can haul more and tow more. I work with Ford's on the job site every day and there's way more Ford's than chevys doing all the work as usual. Our one work truck hauls 1000lbs of off road fuel plus the weight of the steel tank is about 1000lbs plus tools and a couple hundred pounds worth of oil and shit and it doesn't squat at all.
Thank you, appreciate the comment.
Not a power loss... Turning 37s is a little tougher, but with the SCT Tuner it rides great!
We added stabilizers very soon after, and leafs are next, traction bars are also in our future. I would say stabilizers at the minimum.
Looks like you've got a lot better garage set up since your install on the 3500 ram!

Great video. You can just leave off the boring music. It's annoying. Loved the work, good job.
What a clean shop! Is that apart of a house or separate?
That pitman arm pulled is the nicest I've ever seen. Where'd you get it?
not so much actually, but looking to do rear traction bars soon anyway!
Thank you very much.
Just wish it had a 6.7!
Yes! haha, we sure did! You didnt like the crickets singing to you throughout the video? lol
Thanks
What lift what on the truck before?
thats just beautiful! haha. id love for my truck to sit like that.
It was a very basic 2" block kit. About $250 on ebay
serious question, how much play to you have on the arms, to try and move the axle forward to fit some 40s ???
Did you paint that grille and shroud gray or is that stock?
are steering stabilizers and traction bars recommended for a 6 inch lift?
homemade, gotta heat them enough to pry apart, paint the interior, and put them back together.
