In a city called oak cliff, mostly poor or low income and crime, they have the most mega churches in poor communities and those congregate gladly fork over their hard earned money to get likes from pastors and fellow church friends. Check out Oak Cliff and the high churches there.

I have a few questions: So who is a credible preacher in your opinion? Do you prescribe to religion? Or do you believe in the word and the quest to be Holy. I am new in my journey in christ and though I am doing my own studies and reading and re reading scriptures. Alot of what I come across is very contradictory to what the word says and is presented with a bias interpretation. How does one find a credible teacher and chruch that will properly lead me to Christ with one belief.

I have a few questions:
So who is a credible preacher in your opinion?
Do you prescribe to religion? Or do you believe in the word and the quest to be Holy.
I am new in my journey in christ and though I am doing my own studies and reading and re reading scriptures. Alot of what I come across is very contradictory to what the word says and is presented with a bias interpretation.
How does one find a credible teacher and chruch that will properly lead me to Christ with one belief.
Good question, sorry no answer was provided.. the best advice I can give is to study for yourself and seek Hospice guidance by reading His word… if you come across anyone who is preaching the gospel without expecting monetary compensation for doing the Lords work, that’s worth the follow

Our lives, spiritual lives are at stake and that’s the exact reason I made that comment, people have so much to say but won’t stop for a second to offer advise or answer a question.. they’re just using the faith to benefit themselves (likes, subscribers, views and money)
@elgallowayjr yeah it really is starting to feel that way. I enjoy listening too and reading the whole Bible. I am currently studying Leviticus now and I have questions but not sure where to turn its frustrating. Of course I turn too God and allow him to guide my whole heart in truth. But it would be nice to have someone to offer proper guidance or just to have a unbiased conversation about the scriptures.

The more you keep reading things will be answers for you! I really believe that because I had to seek for myself when I went through a traumatic experience at churches!
Sooooooooo, You brought it up. I came across a recent picture that both confused me, and I have soooooo many questions. At a recent conference, (wish I knew which for more reference) BUT, I saw a picture that CeCe Winans herself posted, a picture of her standing next to and smiling with Joyce Meyers😢. They both obviously attended the same conference, and had no issues with sitting next to one another and enjoying this conference. I’ve never known, or looked at CW as necessarily “Solid” but I didn’t think she keep that type of company to the extent that she would even post a pic, happily, with several other pics (w/o Joyce) but overall saying that the conference was Awesome, Sprit-filled, etc CW was HAPPY😭again, I NEED ANSWERS! Can you please give us your thoughts Bro Corey….
Sister, CeCe Winans is just a gospel singer. If CeCe Winans was a preacher and was associating with the wrong folks. I feel like it'd be far worse, regardless. CeCe may not even know about the truth of some these ravenous wolves, don't let it trip you up. Don't esteem anyone too much either.

The Bible speaks of having a holy convocation, have we lost what a convocation is?
The only way to know if a person is a false teacher is by what they teach. If they teach anything but from the bible, they are false.
False preachers are motivational teachers. They are not preachers. Because if they preach the word, they are preaching Jesus.
