      The Jewish people have not tithed since 70 AD when General Titus destroyed the 2nd Temple in Jerusalem ending the prevision for tithing.
      Since 70 AD Jewish Synagogues charge a fee for membership because without the Temple in Jerusalem it is unlawful to tithe without the Priest and the Levites.

    Tithing was instituted by God, in the Old Testament, to support the priesthood, as they did not receive the same inheritance as the other tribes. Tithing is only mentioned a couple of times in the New Testament, by Jesus when he was speaking to the Pharisees, and by the writer of Hebrews, who was also speaking to Jews. The Apostle Paul, and none of the other New Testament writers mention tithing. Instead, we are told to be cheerful givers. Is it okay to tithe? Yes, but we need to remember that this is not a commandment.

I've seen too many cases where people feel Satan is attacking them and its simply a matter of bills not being paid. They made a promise to pay, so pay your bills. As you said, God doesn't need my money. And Give as you are able to from a love of Christ.

    Anyone who teaches tithing as a new covenant practice is lying. Intentionally or not. God doesn’t give protection for doing it, nor curse and destruction for NOT doing it. God isn’t a mafia don. Tithing was ever only for Israel, no one else. And it’s not even for Israel anymore. End of story. Give money if you want, it’s up to you. This twist has happened so much that anywhere the Bible mentions to “give”, people automatically assume it means money. It doesn’t.

    As tithing in the Bible was only food and it was intended for the levitical priesthood because the tribe of Levi did not get land like the other tribes. They always had money in the Bible and God never wanted them using money to tithe. If they tried to use money instead of food , they had to pay 20percent above the value. This is called redeeming. the tithe. This is found in leviticus 26 and 27.

    Obeying that old law on tithing can help deliver that fear of giving out of you... It's good to have a strong foundation on the old laws... But the problem becomes when you are manipulated into giving or else you'll lose your blessings or won't get any blessings. Im kind of torn by this way of thinking because I've been giving almost 17 years under this way of if I don't give im cursed with a curse.... Now, I might even give more because I don't feel like God is going to hurt me if I don't give the 10%... Let me tell you, it's people who give the tithes and go cheat on their spouse afterwards totally voiding out the tithes that you gave I feel like... But anyway I'm not knocking paying 10% if that's what will keep you accountable... Or setting aside some money to honor God from your check to give to his church or give to the poor to honor HIM!

I do believe that the people in the church are deserving, and I do believe that it helps to expand and promote the Kingdom, but the reason is because I made a heartfelt dedication to the Lord of 10 percent. We are no longer under law if so i would be guilty of everything else. If you decided to give tithe it's your personal choice don't mandate others to do so. Some ministries will not allow you to take part in ministry without commitment to tithing, just ridiculous how God's people have been duped for years. Thank God my eyes been open a few years now, but just love giving, but I never give expecting some blessings, the God in me stirs me to do so along with the principles Jesus & Aposrle Paul gave🙏

    Tithing is simply giving 10 percent. Under grace, It's no longer forced by law like taxes are from the government. We should give the tithe willingly from a place of love and obedience to God. He loves a cheerful giver.We are free to give more than that if we have been moved to do so by the Holy Spirit. God can ask us to give 100 percent if He wants too. I have been asked to do that a couple of times and it was rewarded with a bigger blessing after I obeyed and released it. Giving is giving no matter what the measure or percentage. I assure you Tithing is not wrong. It's a practice of discipline that helps us to honor Yah first, develop faith, trust, and obedience to God.

    I am trying to pinpoint why people rely so much on videos like that. I think it's for a few reasons: 1. It's because he has a little bit of charisma. 2. It seems to be an easy step by step guide for blessings. 3. It's something that prosperity preachers said for years.
    The problem is, people try it and fail time and time again. It's sad.😢

    7:45 Agree they give so they can get a tax deduction. That’s not right at the same token it’s helpful for those who may be financially struggling. Should just save it and freely. Be a joyful giver. If your heart is not true in giving then you are not truly giving joyfully. Because it hurts for you to give. It’s a coercive tactic. God wants us to be wise with our money and Allen Parr and Pastor Alan Nolan taught on this not long ago go.
    And T.D Jake’s came to speak at my home local church at FBCG and ask to tithe the number 3,6,5. Example $365, 36.50, 3.65 asking a specific amount I thought was wrong.

    Sounds reasonable. "Provide a margin for God to fill." Not sure. God can fill/over-fill anything, anywhere any time.
    Be very CAREFUL. Slick, very subtle, charming vipers are everywhere. Some versions of the HB are a bit corrupted. We are told to be VIGILANT. [Study. Study again. Then, study some more. When you're done, repeat cycle.]
    In the O.T. it was written, (vague, brief recall) I will overfill your barns. Trust me on this. (else where written?):
    I will give you wells & vineyards you didn't dig or plant. The N.T. is a different covenant with His folks. Lots of debating as to what laws to keep, what laws aren't necessary. [observe^study^guide].
    I pray you find true Wisdom.

    • @petersen-3645
      @petersen-3645 4 месяца назад

      Yes. New testament doesn't mean old testament is condemned. Jesus said he's come not to condemn the old, but to confirm it. Every single one of it. God said "Hes the Lord, He Changeth not." What He said in the old testament is still valid till today.

    • @markb7067
      @markb7067 3 месяца назад

      No. The first fruits were heave offerings of produce items taken to the temple for consumption there. This was carried out under the Old Covenant in Israel. it wasn't a universal commandment then and it has no reach today although we can learn from the intention of it.

    Tithing in this CHURCH age is not biblical, the command for the church today is giving. 2Cor 9:6-7 giving without quota. Paul who is the apostle of the church for the gentiles Rom 11:13 never advocate thithing in all of his letters. Follow his instruction in 2Tim 2:15 to come up with a right doctrine.

    [17] If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. [18] But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up."

    According to Leviticus 27:30-34 The tithes consisted of the following: 1) Seed of the (Holy) Land 2) Fruit of the trees (which grew on the Holy Land) 3) Flock/Herd (the land animals). Under the Mosaic Law all Israelites who grew agricultural produce & had an increase of land animals were under the Law to tithes. These were the commandments which the Lord God had given Moses for the children of Israel in Mount Sinai. Those commandments were neve given to the church, the body of Christ. None of the biblical apostles ever commanded, required, instructed or ever told anyone in the body of Christ to tithe. Furthermore, tithes never consisted of MONEY. Shekels of silver was the ancient monetary commodity of exchange. it was never a tithing commodity. The tithes always consisted of FOOD (that which can be eaten).
    According to Numbers chap. 18, the Tithes were to be given to the Levites & the Levites were to give a tenth of the tithes to the Priest(s). The tithes were stored in a storehouse compartment for the consumption of the Levites & the Priests.
    The tithes was an inheritance for the Levites ( during the dispensation of the Mosaic Law). The temple was completely destroyed in 70 A.D & in according to the book of Hebrews the Levitical Priesthood is now obsolete along with the tithing laws that governed Israel. There is no Old Testament Temple & no Levites or Old Testament Priests today. The church (Body of Christ) is not under the Law of Moses nor are we under the law of tithing.
    Now if a person chooses to freely give a tenth of their income to a ministry, they can do so without any obligation or compulsion.
    Closing note: No one today is practicing or fulfilling tithing as it was commanded for Israel under the Mosaic Law.
    If you are a believer in Christ & you are under a ministry that is centered on Jesus the Christ, teaching sound doctrine, proclaiming the unadulterated gospel of Christ, etc...then you should without reservation, freely give in support of that ministry.
    The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit....Ambassador Everett.

Let’s not even go into the specifics because the early church met where? See I have no love for religious error that keeps people in bondage and if you can’t get past that all you see is from a religious understanding

Fast forward in the NT, Jesus fulfilled the Laws and the Commandments. Those of us who have accepted Jesus as our personal God and Savior, we are now under Grace, and not bound by the Laws.
