For the complainers in the comments saying that Harstem needs to admit that Lurkers are imba don't seem to realize that Lurkers are very powerful in a certain niche and weak in every other. But time and time again you see players wanting to fight against Lurkers when the lurkers are in their strongest position rather than forcing them into a weakened position. You can't A-move ground armies into lurkers and then cry that you lost. You can go air, see Harstem's advice in this video. You can go Immortal, see Lambo's video about how Lurkers aren't Imba he gives practical examples. Or, if you're still on gateway tech, watch the game where Reynor plays PvZ and his opponent parked 15 Lurkers in between his natural and 3rd. The MFer hit the lurkers from 5 different angles and demolished them. It's not that hard to take 15 seconds to split your army and then f2 A-move. It's a simple thing that Zerg have to do every single game to make their weak ass units useful, but Protoss rarely do it because they frequently can get away with keeping their army in a single location because of how powerful their units are. Your complaints about lurkers being OP are invalid if you don't even take the time to learn what their counters are.
So in order to counter a single unit, it requires entire army to split up and flank from 5 different directions. That's basically just admitting that they are OP against protoss ground.
@@HellecticMojo Nope - you can F2-amove and kill every lurker when you are ahead as this guy was. But you are not allowed to complain that Lurkers are IMBA if you start with a bad build, make dumb unit comps and dumb decisions like this guy.

@@hivetech4903 counter means that the unit needs to hold an advantage with equivalent level of resources. All you are admitting is that lurkers have no ground counter since it requires either massive positional and control advantage or numbers advantage.
17:00 I think carriers would be more useful in this case because the zerg doesn't seem to target down things, seems to be a-moving. Could have taken down the prism a few times to prevent reinforcements, didn't do that. So, carriers unloading massive amounts of targets for the zerg's army to auto-target seems like it'd be more useful than tempests (not dissing tempests, but you have to exploit your enemy's weakness, right?). Obviously disruptors can take care of lurkers too, especially with no upgrades on the lurkers, but I don't think protoss knows whether zerg has the upgrade or not. So maybe 3 carriers to deploy a fighter screen that the zerg will auto-attack into, 6 voidrays to deal some damage, maybe 2 tempests to destroy any static defense if the zerg decides to build any, and then he can keep the zealot stalker army on the ground because he just loves ground units so much. I'd say get 2-3 observers too but the zerg doesn't seem to be very good with detection or, as mentioned earlier, with focus firing.
Can't wait for the "carriers are op" iodis from a zerg who goes mass hydra/lurker fighting a protoss that actually tech switches lol. And to make things better, it'll be a zerg that was a previous terran / protoss that lost to lurkers, so now that's all they build xD

I think that gg after the "left the game" has to be a bug. I can only come up with few plausible explanations. First is the way the engine's update loop is written that it first handles "left the game" events, only then messages from chat. Second is that it does the first but concurrently and messing up the locking. Third is it could be tampered. I've played around with replay parsers and tried to write one myself. There is checksum or signature that maybe possibly could be tampered, but as far as I know its made with the game engine itself so without disassembling the game code itself its very hard to generate a valid signature using external tools. My verdict is tampering is very unlikely. It just takes so much effort that I don't really see someone being dedicated enough just to mess with a youtube video.
