This game has no right to be as good as it did. Late, but I’m genuinely surprised he never got the Jumpman badge because it adds extra damage to the jump attack it’s basically a power plus that gets rid of the hammer (which is useless). You can only get from that traveling salesman it’s 240 coins and it only costs 2 BP it’s one of the best badges in the game.

Ok, so I did the Pit for the first time ever today, and I did not encounter a SINGLE Amazee Dayzee, and this dude runs into like 5 of them! I still managed to beat Bonetail by utilizing the same strategy, plus I lucked out and got a 4th Power Plus P in the final dungeon, but I still felt robbed for some reason lol
This game is absolutely phenomenal, best RPG I played, 2nd being Superstar Saga. I still love and will defend TOK, but I prefer 5 times for if they keep doing games like TTYD.
The Mario RPG remake isn't entirely the same dialouge. There's a Toad Child in the Mushroom Kingdom that has different dialouge. In the remake, they want to be Mario's sidekick, while in the original, they want to get married. They even say to give them time to grow into their mother's wedding dress
