- From Act 1 all the way to the first Ascendancy (including what I would choose first in each class) as a Ranger with no levelling gear. This leveling / League Start Guide is for Path Of Exile - Affliction (PoE 3.23). We use the really powerful levelling skill - Poisonous Concoction - which helps us race to our goal with a nice generic Passive Skill Tree.
Suitable for levelling Raider, Deadeye and Pathfinder Builds up to the first Ascendancy. We also go into each of the Ascendancies you should pick first for speed. My guide will contain enough information to get to Maps if needed if your End Game skill of choice is only strong with good gear such as Tornado Shot.
I tried this with Bow Skills but unfortunately nothing comes remotely close to Poisonous Concoction in the early game.

After finishing act3 and ascending my witch in +10 hours (i'm a newbie), i was havin issues with survivin and damaging because of my mixed trash build, and i decided to roll and i completed act2 in 1-1.5 hours i guess, it was a great progress for me, thx for the guide it helped a lot

I've followed the guide and I have to say I am the glassiest cannon ever. My god I get crumpled! Does this guide go past ascendancy level? I'd like to know what to go into next, I've obviously expanded on my own since then but dang am I getting knocked around

So, basically gear does not matter that much, is just the socket colors, numbers and links what matters the most? which ascendancy do you recommend for a Elemental hit build? thank you for the video, it was really helpful.
Welcome to the game Exile!
The primary concern in the early game is sockets and links with the right colours for your skills.
After this prioritise gear upgrades that give elemental resists and life.
For Elemental hit there are 2 real choices
Deadeye for faster clear (Extra proj and chain) Farshot and gathering winds
Raider for better boss damage (Resist Mitigation and frenzy stacking)
With elemental hit to scale you need to get hold of the green and red combat focus threshold jewels for your tree and try and convert all damage to fire.

I havn't looked at the warden ascendancy yet this league. People seem to be going Elemental hit or lightning strike. youtube seach 3.25 warden builds so see moprew. I can't vouch for them but the crators pleaying those builds this league are sound. Thanks for watching!

Hello bro nice vid! im really new to this game, just started 3 days ago and made a ranger, i wanna learn the basics to start the new league with more knowledge, i always liked the archers class, im old school player diablo 2 but this game is a lot more complex in general, what u recommend me to go? i saw a lightding archers and a toxic rains build , i dont know if exist another one better build a pshycal dmg one? cheers.
I played a tornado shot deadeye build this league and it was really enjoyable. You can find my tree and gear here: pobb.in/ckYVbH7fN3XQ This is a tanky version, there are builds with way more damage out there. Do not switch to tornado shot until you have a bow that deals damage of all 3 elements. Shout if you have any questions and best of luck!
Hello, just followed your guide but i was wondering if going deadeye was the best move? What should i level up next in the passive tree?
It really depends what you plan to play, Deadey does have a lot tf really nice extra projectiles and chaining on the ascendancy which is really good if you have a lot of projectiles in use. I would pick a deadeye build for 3.24 and build that on the end of the start of this. You can adjust the levelling tree as you level through the campain and pick up refund points. Orb of regrets can also give you extra refund points. I tend to do any tree adjustments as late game as possible.

They took it away from the ranger this league. Skill gems are sometimes secured behind quests, bit not levels. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Will you do an update on this levelling guide for act 4 to 10?
This is not a build guide, it is just intended as a strong start to get you to the transition point for your end game skill. The idea is that you use this to level to lvl 28 where most active skills unlock and then start to follow an end game guide. If you have any idea about what yopu want to play in the end game I can suggest some guides to follow. I also have a generic guide to each of the acts that is non character specific. No, It should always be on the beach or sold from nessa providing you are not playing ruthless. Support skills are drop only in Ruthless. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Welcome to the game! So from here you really want to pick an end game build guide and then transition once the skill you are moving too feels good. If you fancy a bow skill most start to feel good once you hit end game. I played Manni's Tornado shot last league and it was really good fun. @@vasilistsitsas5088 I personally wouldn't transition until maps. So the idea is start building the new tree onto the end of this one. Prioratise entries on the tree that will work for both builds. Just note that if you get a lot of crit you are going to want to roll off precise technique as that prevents crit. Once you get more reversal points/regrets start to adjust the original tree. I would roll off the attack speed nodes at the start off last. I started a deadey tornado shot yesterday and got it to 90 today,. I levelled to maps with poisonous conc and switched to rain of arrows and a bow until tornado shot felt good, which meant getting 20 quality for the extra projectile. Pathfinder is the more traditional poison build choice out of the ranger ascendancies. Thats not to say you can't do it with a raider, you will have to just apply as many poisons as possible as quickly as possible. As for poisonous concoction, I havn't played it in a few league in end games, but when I did it was viable, but you will need clustr jewels because poisonous concoctions damage frops off fast at around t14 maps unless you invest in it. Here is a posisonous concoction build that you might be able to adapt to raider. If I wanted a poison raide I would be tempted to try something like Venom Gyre. I think caustic Arrow of poison is quite popular this league. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

I’m a newbie and a little confuse. If we follow this guide. How can we change build at the end if we will not use this in end game?
It's not an end game guide, it's just a way to level early while most bow skill still feel weak. I leveled my tornado shot with this and took it all the way to maps. I then switched over to rain of arrows until I could afford my early TS bow. The idea is that you pick an end game bow skill and join this tree to that once you run out of nodes on the early guide. The tree deliveratly stops at act 4 and uses mostly generic nodes so that you won't have to make too many adjustments at end game. You can switch over to rain of arrows as soon as you start to have to alot bow points, but posisonous concoction is really strong all the way through the campaign. @@jannoenricoenriquez4392 It follow a lot of the early game tree characteristics so there will be some respeccing but mostly covered by the respec points you get throiugh the campaign. This is the guide that my ts is based off of :- www.poe-vault.com/guides/manni-tornado-shot-deadeye-build-guide He suggests you can change as early as 38, but I wouldn't recommend it. You should buy your skill gems during the campain and level them in a weapon in your weapons wap so you don't lose power on the switch,
Why did you say you don’t equip a chest until act 4?
It has a hidden modifier that lowers movement speed, so typically to move faster I don't equip one till it's worth it.

The idea is you find an end game guide and level with this until you reach the transition point. I played Tornada shot this league. I levelled this to maps and when I ran out of points on my early tree I just joined the end game tree to the end of this one. I then switched to rain of arrows until I could afford an early ts bow. I use neversink filters. While levelling common,. once I get to maps strict and then after a week very strict. this league beacase of the silly amount of loot we can get to drop I am on a custom filter. @@Jacksonnn33I won't be making a 4 -10 because it's pretty much all the same gems until maps. I will be putting togethether an end game build guide and the correct way to transition to bow skills such as TS. How do u get the quest rewards for the poisononous concoction ? can't find it
It only unlocks when you enter the cavern of wraith (off from ship graveyard) for the first time. Hope this helps!

Why no chest earlier?
Chest has a hidden movement speed reduction stat as does a shield. If you get a +3 movement stat on the shield the shield penalty cacels out. That said getting the correct links overrides that concern as sockets are more important for damage. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Is this build still valid?
Fisrtly this is just a levelling guide. Some of the support skills are no longer valid based on the changes this league but you should still be pretty solid from the end of act 1 onwards. Note that this is just a guide to levelling early game and not an end game guide. Thanks for watching!

maybe im just stupid asf. decent guide but u move way to fast for people that have no idea what they are doing didnt even know i had portals when u said to put a portal on a bridge. others prob dont feel the same but im get frustrated cause im losing time just trying to figure out 90% of what ur talking about. not showing if ur lvling ur gems that u have at start or if u just dont lvl since ur switching out some later. not really explaining what ur points go into ur just running past it.
Yes these are more designed for existing playes who want to speed up their leveling, so they are fast. I do have a link in the description to a written guide and the tree for those who need a slower paced experience. Sorry this was too fast, but thanks for watching!
@@Altek2k it’s all just me. it’s kinda hard for me to find a video that i can understand i’ve played before but never got to far. i still use this guide cause its best so far. also u were moving at a godly speed cause ig u got lucky on all ur armor drops an wasn’t getting 1 shot an could use all urs greens i havnt found a single one so getting through missions are me dying 50 times cause i can’t even use my gems or whatever they are called. still love the video an thanks for replying with info of ur other videos.
Honestly this is extremely broken. You momentum dash valley right away. And just go ahead and buy mortgage archer. You cannot do this in ruthless. The balance in the generic mode is a total joke. In most games it would be considered broken due to being extremely flawed. It would be much better to see ranger on Ruthless. Because more and more are migrating over simply for a better more balanced experience. Play what you enjoy. Of it's easy mode. But Ruthless is factually better designed and balanced. There are features only available in regular. But not worth it. There are only two reason to play Ruthless. Preferring some features over design/balance. Or you enjoy easy mode in games. Anything else is called rationalization to cover up one of those reasons. And can be used for anybody who would rather not play a normal mode in games.
Got to say, much prefer this to ruthless. Just personal preference. Thanks for watching!
