I feel like a PROUD UNCLE whenever I watch XG perform! I can't be the only one, right?
XG just have that swag and individuality that is crazy good. Plus the discography has everything anyone can enjoy
XG is the best girl group in the world right now.
The scary thing is they are just getting started.
They are currently on their 1st World Tour and have announced their 2nd Mini Album coming soon.
First world tour kick-off in Japan (Osaka and Yokohama ), then Korea. (Seoul), Taipei and then now Singapore and onwards… yeah! 👍

I am a HUGEEE fan of 2NE1 and ever since YG disbanded them, only XG appealed to me the same way 2NE1 did. I just found myself one day listening to just XG songs on loop. Love them!

XG is a new Japanese girl group, distinct from both K-pop and J-pop, focusing solely on XPOP from Japan, which sets them apart and makes them unique in the music scene. 🐺🐺
One thing, in my opinion, that allows them to be so versatile and change/update/adapt their iconic sounds is their mastery over the basics of vocals, dance, etc. which shows to the hard work Efra was talking about. I also like that, as far as I know, XG emphasizes that the product we see is a team effort and not just the girls. And that makes me appreciate them even more.

Yeah after seeing XG, it’s difficult to see other groups, they are so mature and high level on all skills and productions, also they keep creating new things which just such big differences with all the other girlgroups, I found some famous Girlgroups have been started put XG things into their things,even the concepts and outfit stylist, 😎

I like them all, BUT Cocona is my favorite. She is not typical and is super talented. She is different in a good way...and if she wanted to go the "girly" direction, she easily could.
XG is literally on another level doing it their own way. They are 100% something special and unique. And these 7 queens are just getting started. But because they aren't "kpop" and aren't with the "big 4 kpop labels" they need a much bigger push in the U.S. somehow.

@@jonathanwatson5818 I'm far from being a metalhead or rock fan, and I'm not a "fandom" type of person especially since I'm a grumpy 52 year old American guy who is really a hiphop/r&b lover...BUT BABYMETAL is different from ANYTHING out there, and their music helped keep my spirits up after both of my parents died 7 years ago. Their positive, uplifting, high energy, BUT heavy AF music surprisingly helped me...and to this day, I still listen to BABYMETAL songs daily to keep my low level depression under control.

XG is literally a dance group that has 7 amazing vocalists and rappers. Their usual choreographer is Sienna and The Lab, Kiel Tuttin and I think Rena did this version of Left Right since she’s local in Korea.
XG is the complete package. All talent, visual, personality, charisma

Japan has access to the best producers, the money, and visual kei on tap. It's not strange they're giving the best performances out of everyone getting out of the old JPOP system (no disrespect btw). It's like they took HYBE but made it more eclectic, that's XG.

Thats a very good point! As a fan of BABYMETAL ( I know they are a little different, but they still were following the jpop idol formula in their early years since they were originally started as a subgroup in the jpop idol group Sakura Gakuin), I've seen them do everything you mentioned in their early years, except for the weather!

As for XG's debut song people either said it was really good or they now say it's not as good as their other songs that came after it.
@@jonathanwatson5818 That's actually a good thing. That means that a group is growing, improving, and evolving. It's sad when a group's/artist's best song was their first song, especially when they have many songs and even worse if they have multiple albums!
I don't care what people say, but I think YG created BM just to compete with XG, but then BOOM!! YG didn't know others' agency saw XG as a threat and created their own "global girl groups" to compete with XG also, and the funny part is in the mist of creating GGS to compete with XG, all these K-pop agencies end up competing with themselves while XG keep thriving and evolving!

Nothing shameful about that they still two years in their career. Plenty of artist out there that can write but cant deliver a convincing rap. Others write but only talk about their private parts. So to each their own.

It’s 2024.. 80% of artist these days don’t right their own lyrics.. Bruno Mars spent 10 yrs in the Game writing lyrics for some of the Top Preformers in the Mid 2000s. And that’s just music in the States. And almost all female rappers have ghost writers.
They’re singing/rapping in a language they aren’t 100% in. For the beginning of their career they get a pass, in the next couple of years if they don’t write then it’ll be a shame
