These portal rankings are all over the place! Example; you guys got Amari Williams 77th, Rivals has his 3rd. You guys have Kobe Brea 104th, I saw one forget which one that has him 8th. Ive seen Johnnell Davis 1st, 2nd, and 44th. There's so much more concensus in the HS rankings.
Ya I agree...brea at 40 but was one of main focal points from every team is crazy

Yeah he only won nearly 80% of his game 2 final fours and a natty over 15 yrs , and three or four were pandemic! Your high if you think last resort mark pope will win at Kentucky, barnhart has turned the cats into Louisville.

Do you really think he can't win 30 with better players? You definitely need to find a different group of people if you're trying to inflate Calipari and make it stick. The last five years tell you everything.

The biggest problem with Cal is he never fully embraces any culture. He should have move championship’s than any coach ever have you seen his rosters? How many ppl he put into the NBA? Yet he only has one because the the kids he gets are only worried about college, back in the day kids cared about college now they (the athletes) especially highly ranked players are only worried about the next level not the current school no matter where he is. I hope he does change that aspect however I doubt I am still rooting for him and the kids in every game but the ones where they play us. I really think Big Z is going to DOMINATE next year. Mark my words Big Z will be one of the best platers in the nation next year. We loved him in Lexington (Fayette County) now he is in Fayetteville lol.
You don't remember how mad cow got at Z for shooting all those threes he got benched and played 2 minutes a game from there on out. They could be absolutely dominating but cow will be hell-bent on making him develop into a post big, and crushes confidence playing behind edu at the five spot.

Kentucky was ranked 3rd in the transfer portal rankings behind Kansas and Indiana before they added Kobe Brea and Kerr Krissa, they have to be either #1 or #2 now.
Why does everyone have them not even ranked, bias?
@@nazur72 their not in recruiting because they only have one player that is Travis Perry. The rest of the roster is transfer portal pieces. Last I seen they were 3rd behind Kansas and Indiana in transfer portal rankings, and that was before they added Kobe brea and Kerr Krissa. They have to have jumped Kansas now. But as for actual recruiting rankings their not ranked because Cal took those kids to Arkansas or 3 of them anyway

Kentucky rent from five starting freshman with zero experience to potentially five Fifth year seniors, That's crazy to happen in one year.
Kentucky is officially Louisville, 2 or 3 yr. head coach mark pope was the last resort, no quality coaches or players want to come to Kentucky. It will be a decade and 3 coaches, before Kentucky returns!
@Darkbluedevil calipari couldn't beat kansas, Pope beat them with a bunch of nobodies. Way better coach then calipari who couldent adjust in-game to save his life. It will nice to see what happens. Louisville is nearly in the too 60 in class so no. Not even close.

The problem that arkansas fans will soon realize is it was never the players. UK has put together one of the best coaching staffs. We didnt want to lose Calipari, but we didnt want him to continue coaching us either.
So a coach wins championships not players??? Yea ok......

Facts, Cal can have the most talented roster in the country, in which he does alot, but still find a way to lose. He doesn't care about winning, he is just milking schools resources for a pre NBA program, and does absolutely nothing coaching wise to win games.

Calipari could get the LA Lakers team and still come up with a bust season - he can't coach hasn't a clue I don't know what happened to him.
He reacted to Jacks sniping on the three-point line and they're single 6.6 guy getting every rebound with putting in his worst distributer and shooting guard and three non-shooting bigs on the floor at the same time. It's amazing that everybody still thinks it's 2012 it's like the media is intentionally scraping the last 5 years under the rug for Calipari. All the inflated rankings and tournament disappointments and high expectations make the pain all that much worse for those who believe him.
As a Ky fan, I give uconn the props they deserve. They are the favorite until a team takes them down.
Arkansas will make the final four. Mark pope has never won an NCAA tournament game. Look for that to continue.

Y'all are crazy if you think Arkansas won't be phenomenal this season.. Kentucky fans blamed the coach for those kids having great seasons and coming up short in the tournament. It happens, anyone can win. But the razorbacks are going to be stacked.
It's a lot more complicated than that. There were a lot of things that kept building up that turned the fans sour on Cal. It wasn't just the tourney drought. The lack of post-season success just made it impossible to overlook a lot of other stuff. That said, there's still a lot of love for what he did with his time in Lexington. Gave us some great seasons and did some great things for the community. Arkansas SHOULD be excited because Cal is going to do some really fantastic things. Just don't OVER-invest in his coaching ability.
