  • Thanks to my brother, Kiril for coming onto my channel and filming with me. As you know, I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). But I’ve always been curious to know if my brother has it too. In this video, I’m recreating my EDS test and seeing if my brother has it as well!
    Disclaimer This video is just for fun and isn’t anything official. If you, or someone you know, thinks you might have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), please speak to a registered Doctor or Physician. We are not professionals!

    Thanks to my brother, Kiril for coming onto my channel and being such a good sport! I hope you enjoy our chaotic energy. Is there anything else you’d like us to film together?
    Please note, this video was filmed just for fun. The EDS test is way more complex than this. If you think you might have EDS, please speak to a registered doctor or physician.

      @@stelasulzdorf sorry for late reply. I came up with it it's called footballin for autism and anxiety challenge!!! Yall both do 4 poses that each have a meaning. 1st pose is tackle position - tackle your daily objectives 2nd pose is longsnapper - change your pov even if it's upside down 3rd pose is quarterback - throw away all negativity and 4th is yalls own made up touchdown pose - celebrate your achievements

    Loved the video lol I’ve not been officially diagnosed with EDS but 20ish years ago a doctor diagnosed me with hyper mobility syndrome and over the years of reading about EDS I’m pretty sure it’s that. I got a 7-9 out of 9 on the Breighton. I didn’t have anyone to hold down my knees lol so without that it’s a 7 but I do know they are extremely hypermobile because a few years ago in PT we had to alter my exercises because of how bad they were hyper extending behind me lol seriously freaked out the therapist working with me 😂

      Thank you so much for watching! 💕 I’m so glad you loved the video. It most definitely sounds like you have EDS too. Seldom do doctors know what EDS is nowadays. So, I can only imagine it was even less known about 20 years ago. There are many debates out there as to whether HSD (Hypermobile spectrum disorder) should just be classified as EDS. But it’s so under researched, that I believe your diagnosis at the time, was based on your the knowledge of your doctor at the time 💕

    Your hands are meant to be flat on the floor

  • @carenarose6037
    @carenarose6037 2 года назад +1

    I don't know if the UK and US have different criterias but here his arms, leg, and fingers would not have counted. Because his fingers have to be past 90 at the first joint not the ends and the arms have to be hyperextended by more then 10°, same for the legs and touching the floor your palms have to be completely flat for it to count. Think this was a great entertaining video tho! I just wanted to say that atleast here the official diagnostic criteria is a bit harder then this. As well as here (again idk if their different or why) the first minor criteria is actually 12 parts and u have to have atleast 5, then a family relative by first degree which would be her as his sister then there's a third minor criteria which is three parts. Two of those need to be passed to go to the third major (the three minor go together as one major)

    • @alexiskruel
      @alexiskruel 2 года назад

      I believe the criteria are the same globally.

    • @carenarose6037
      @carenarose6037 2 года назад +1

      @@alexiskruel if it is then she didn't do the full criteria and some of what she did is wrong, maybe she's using the old criteria though? I don't know what the old one consisted of but it was updated in 2017

    • @alexiskruel
      @alexiskruel 2 года назад

      Correct

    • @stelasulzdorf
      @stelasulzdorf  2 года назад

      Hey! You’re right, I didn’t go through the whole criteria. This video was purely for entertainment purposes, as I wanted to personally see if my brother might have EDS. I just decided to film the process. I got diagnosed quite some time ago and the criteria has changed since then. My brother is also very distracting and it was hard to remember much around him. 😅
      This video should only be used as a small indicator and should be taken with a pinch of salt. Always consult with professionals as I’m not clinically trained - I’m just a Zebra sharing her life with EDS 💕🤗
