great job! my son and i did the same project! 67 camaro 350 crate, full painless wiring system, 350 th tranny, dana 60 rearend , all new interior, 4 wheel disc brakes, mini tub, gloss black paint, all new chrome and trim, spent $28k but he's worth every penny! lol
Day 2s rock! No one kept stock wheels on back then, the mantra awas 50's n 60's and some kinda jacked up back end for stance where evrywhere. It looks so odd to see rows of them on stock wheels.
Late 80s I was 18 or 19...this was my 1st car. Lines look great from any angle on these WIfe did a great job on those seats I couldnt have done mine. No wrinkles
Thank you for the nice comment. We really appreciate it. I wish they were as affordable as they were back in the late 80s, I'd have a whole field of em'!
Ya'll did an incredible job on restoring this car! The interior is absolutely beautiful, your wife did an incredible job! The paint, the wheels, the rubber, the engine bay... this car looks very aggressive just as an American muscle car should look! I love it! 😍❤️
Beautiful job! I had 3.31 in my big block Camaro and loved them. My small block '68 has 3.73's, and I would rather have the 3.31's in it. Perfect gear for cruising.
Very nice job!! Happy to see someone build a car that isn't lowered to the ground. This is the way I remember them back when I was younger. Beautiful car!!! ❤
@johnthonig1692 far as I can tell exteriorwise that's a '67 . You can't go by the rear spoiler as most people install them on '67's cause they look good. It's absent of fender indicator lights as the 67s never had them , 67 specific vent glass in the doors, No stainless trim on the tops of the doors (68 only) so ya it's a 67
It's the part on the top and adjuster from a kit like this one. They were about half the price several years ago when we got it. www.amazon.com/YUCHENSHLP-Polished-Aluminum-Alternator-Bracket/dp/B0CP6R242M/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2UOTPERAZ696G&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.mDGY1-l9gIVCZhZGY_XTjEnw6l1Un43TDj6g6Gf5IFk7gN9IW0ZEbvg2xlu1F7v5g33yQ925QL7zi-dRaNar66voTnYzH9GHscgG7pgM-9m_eQ7JGAn-nthIuYxOukfSj78yDyoKFDfZy71kzjVMh80uPSSKtKRpk8MP9PLvfFqTQykj85_IRbFr8poRdEoXmnmAuHYttbbbfBVRI6PaRg.6NG3WIo6yDOVuJOzLgyRplU7ddYfRb8LDYjNswIGi4E&dib_tag=se&keywords=swp+drivers+side+alternator+bracket&qid=1711836929&sprefix=swp+drivers+side+alyernator+bracket%2Caps%2C192&sr=8-3

Thanks, we really appreciate the feedback! Would love to see the car you and your son built.
FINALLY a 1st gen Camaro with PROPER wheels and tires!👍👍🇺🇲
Thanks, we dig that old school look!
I just put some 10 inch torq thrust D's on the back of mine, with skinny's up front. I love the day 2 look.

Very nice! Being Ford enthusiast glad to see another Camaro saved👌👌👌
Thank you, we appreciate that! It's always good to see old iron saved, no matter the brand.
Wow u and your wife did a beautiful job on car. Great team work 👍🇺🇸
Thank You! We both really appreciate the positive feedback!

You both did an amazing job on her. The interior is top notch!!

Thank you! I think 3.31s are good all around gear, good compromise anyway. I hope to have a big block in one some day!
Looks sharp pretty cool your wife did the interior.
Thanks, she appreciates it!
Very Nice Car!! It is great to see people put the work in, the interior is amazing.
Thank you, very much appreciated!

Thank you, we really appreciate it. It's what I remember them looking like back then, too.
nice job looks sharp
Thank you, it's very appreciated!
Love it !!! Excellent job on the inside and that’s my personal favorite part color combo for that year Camaro
Thank You!
Looking good my friend!
Thanks! It's much appreciated!
Clean...
Nice job...👍
Thank You, we really appreciate it!
I'm a Camaro guy...
The one I currently have is my seventh..
Congrats sir, she's super nice.
Thank you, we really appreciate it!
Looks good
I got a 9 in rear end on my 67 and those 10 fit perfect none of them stick out at all
I would like a little more back spacing, but also dig the old school look.

Looks good keep up the good work
Thank you, we really appreciate it!
Absolutely gorgeous sir... personally not a fan of wheels protruding from the body but thats my problem, right?😅
It's always personal preference. I grew up in the 70s and 80s, so I kind of dig the look.
That's one sexy care. Love it!
@@erekriccobuano6141 Thanks! We really appreciate it!

Can you tell me where you got your upper alt brackets from ?

@@roythweatt9525 awesome thank you. Are you happy with it? I’m having issues with my set up… is your lower mount just bolted up to the header
Looks like this kit has both upper and lower mounts! Sweet
Yeah it's just a chrome bracket like you get for headers. It's really solid and we haven't had any issues with it.
@@roythweatt9525 sounds good I appreciate the info…. Camaro is sweet too btw

How do you fold down the back seats mine seem to be stuck
It should pull down pretty easy on a 67. 68s have a lever on the passenger side you use to release it.
not all of them folded down
Not a proper video without a listen to it running! Beautiful car and very nice work though.
