Big time! They ride them with reckless disregard for traffic laws. Running stop signs and red lights. Failing to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks etc.
I grew up on the Avenues (South Redondo) in the early 60’s and 70’s. It was the best! Went to South School Elementary (Knob Hill/PCH), Hillcrest Jr. High, and RUHS. I’m in my 70’s now, retired living in the Hollywood Rivera.
Earthquakes. 6:30 in the morning. That pool I mentioned most of the water came rushing straight for the big picture windows, luckily there was another good size tremor cuz it changed the direction of the water. You didn't mention the hurricanes, one was so bad it completely destroyed the fishing barge that was over two a d half miles from King Harbor.
Sorry, glommy was the norm from what I remember sunny California., nope, not. Are you out of your ever loving tree. Our house was sold for 54 thousand and we had a good size side yard and a in ground pool on the other side. Sheeeezzz
After hearing these negatives would you still want to live here?
liiving close to the freeway is the most important thing in LA which is why i CHOOSE to live in a tent underneath of it.
A great plus about Redondo is being close to the *Turquoise Restaurant* on Catalina Ave, great food!
I’ve heard great things about it it’s on my list to try.
about right..i live across from redondo high...big issue now is kids on ebikes....

Our old house in Inglewood is 850k 😂 good luck buying a nice house in Redondo Beach for less than 2 million
Affordability is a huge issue for first time buyers for sure
I grew up here and have to say this was an honest assessment.
Thank you. I try to keep it real so ppl moving here get the whole picture
Great information!
So glad you found it helpful

I wish I could have experienced what it’s like here back then. I’m “only” here 24 years

We don’t have hurricanes in Redondo Beach!
North kids usually go to Mira Costa. It’s been awhile- are they not allowed anymore?
They are definitely still allowed. Many choose not to though. My kids liked the vibe at RUHS better
