It's funny that in all those "songs that make you cry" lists we never see songs like this, with this type of lyrical content. Sure, it's up tempo but the imagery is there even without the video. A father abandoning his child coldly to the streets, "...just like her mother...", a life needlessly cut short. It's almost painful.
