Nice review, i have the loop switch which are great for concerts, sports and movies , because you don't have to mess around with the mute rings if you want to adjust how much sound you wish to reduce
I might end up picking those up at some point because I like the idea of the versatility, but to be honest the engage has served me really really well at my job and any further loss of environmental queues would really throw me off I think, but I like the idea of being able to kick it up a notch when we are out at sports venues or things like that that can become overwhelming. Good suggestion and would love to hear more about your experience with them! Thanks for watching :-)
That is very true, we’ll see, next week, as I type this I’m in the process of uploading a first field test video where I compare several pairs, really hoping I can find something that works out and give some insight to anyone who’s looking to possibly purchase their own earplugs.
For better or for worse this is my first entry into the lineup from loop, so I don’t have a comparison for you I apologize, but I’m pretty sure there were some folks on RUclips here that might have more info for you
@@mayonnaiseonanescalator7237I was considering upgrading, but then I read what they have actually improved on their homepage: 'Our engineers have been working hard to improve our core products, and Loop Engage 2 is no different. Loop Engage 2 still boasts the same award-winning filter to keep speech clear but with upgraded ear tip sizes for a more comfortable and secure fit throughout the day' So same thing, with 'upgraded ear tip sizes'. This is not enough for me to get a new pair.
I am visually impaired so I do the best I can, I know there are others that have videos that might be a little easier for you to see if you want details on anything specific
Thank you for this review! Helping me in my decision.
I’m glad this was helpful, thank you for watching!

Hopefully these will work out for you after some testing. They actually look comfortable but wearing them for a whole shift at work is the real test.

Have you tried the first version of loop engage? If you did, then how does it compare to the upgraded version (loop engage 2)?
