Thank you for a very helpful review, I plan to buy Cuisinart brand but after your review, I decided to buy this ninja machine because of the price is so much cheaper too, only $200 compared to $600 14 cup cuisinart food processor (in Canadian dollar).
Thank you very much for this detailed review. Do you know if it can blend/mill dry grains like rice, or spices like white pepper, black pepper, cinnamon sticks dry?
The cups should be able to do so, but note that grinding hard spices may create micro-scratches in the cup's interior that will make it appear permanently cloudy.
Yes, for things like rolled oats and small seeds like flax and chia, but not very hard ingredients like rice and dried beans, as these can damage the plastic vessels. Yes, you can make peanut butter in the food processing bowl but will need to scrape down the sides of the bowl several times to fully incorporate the bits.
searching for a glass bowled processor/blender, wonder if that exists considering how dangerous it probably is. might have to end up coming back to this thanks for the detailed review!
Great review! Can't find anywhere, can you please check if the voltage on the detect model is also 220v? Usually electronics support both 120v and 220v but not sure about blenders in general
You could probably do it in the smoothie cup, though it's not "recommended" as hard grains will ultimately create micro-scratches in the clear plastic making it look cloudy over time.
Yes, the large pitcher is designed to withstand heat. It's made of durable plastic and will not crack under normal uses. That said, I would probably stick to ingredients that have been cooled slightly after heating e.g. wait 5-10 minutes after boiling or roasted ingredients before adding them to the pitcher.
Yes, no hot liquids in the sealed blender cup. It's part of the safety section in the manual. It's fine in the pitcher and food processor bowl because they are not sealed and therefore cannot build up dangerous amounts of internal pressure.
No. Cold press juice would require a slow masticating auger juicer like this one: geni.us/65hx [Amazon Affiliate Product Link] Any high speed blender will eventually generate some heat during processing, and it will not filter out pulp and fiber the way a juicer would.

Why did you get the wrong one?

Do you still use this. If so what’s your thoughts almost a year later
Thanks!
You bet!
@@ReviewedByPhil I'll probably buy it now. Unless you got any other recommendations?
Awesome Review thank you !
searching for a glass bowled processor/blender, wonder if that exists considering how dangerous it probably is.
might have to end up coming back to this
thanks for the detailed review!
Thanks for this video!
You're welcome!
My motor has only 2 suction cups at the base ,.It suppose to be this way ? or is anew design
Great review! Can't find anywhere, can you please check if the voltage on the detect model is also 220v? Usually electronics support both 120v and 220v but not sure about blenders in general
The Ninja Detect motor base is only rated for 120V, not 220V.
For EU is made with 220 v
Can you make very fine rice flour starting from dry rice with this blender? Whether it's with the main cup or the smoothie cup. Thank you!
You could probably do it in the smoothie cup, though it's not "recommended" as hard grains will ultimately create micro-scratches in the clear plastic making it look cloudy over time.
Have you figured out how to clean food from the plastic blender handle? I’ve had mine about two months and there is a build up inside the handle.
Thank you !!! You are amazing and beautiful, take care
Thank you for this. My display says "Install," even though I had the pitcher mounted with water in it. What am I doing wrong?
Can u tell me how to use the chip for cucumber. I tried and it kept shredding. I had it to disc mode but no luck
You have to flip the disc over so that the long/wide cutting blade is on top, and the small shredding holes are on the bottom.
You can blend hot stuff? It doesn’t crack?
Yes, the large pitcher is designed to withstand heat. It's made of durable plastic and will not crack under normal uses. That said, I would probably stick to ingredients that have been cooled slightly after heating e.g. wait 5-10 minutes after boiling or roasted ingredients before adding them to the pitcher.
Did it say not to put hot liquids in a manual ?
Yes, no hot liquids in the sealed blender cup. It's part of the safety section in the manual. It's fine in the pitcher and food processor bowl because they are not sealed and therefore cannot build up dangerous amounts of internal pressure.
@@ReviewedByPhil oh ok , i rly wish I could buy it but it’s not available in Europe yet😔
Is 220v available now on amazon?, in EU ?
I bot one made for EU
Does it work for cold press juice?
No. Cold press juice would require a slow masticating auger juicer like this one: geni.us/65hx [Amazon Affiliate Product Link] Any high speed blender will eventually generate some heat during processing, and it will not filter out pulp and fiber the way a juicer would.
Tengo este conjunto y con el vaso grande se derrama todo no sé por qué
