Naturuk's perfect shot is just beyond the limits when equipped on Zephyr. I like to subsume spectrosiphon with augment so I can provide the team with infinity energy too.
Playing Zeph with max range and Gara's subsumed and the augment. Its a passive way, but u dont use Energize. With max range u can play every defense mission without any dmg at the amp, in combination with Zephs 3rd as a bulletshield. So u have a free arcanechoice...for armorstrip simply use a good dagger like the Karyst or Nepherie with gas and the Argonak with both Amalgam mods. The Gasclouds staying so long and ticking so fast in the tornados, that all incoming enemys are stripped instantly. Have fun Tennos
use her second ability, throw glaive prime and when it hit it explodes then quickly press heavy attack button to detonate it second time, bleeding will kill all enemies, you don't have to do any more steps... you can also jump and then throw glaive prime, because of zephyr passive will increase the slash status damage even more.
Btw if you don’t want to put an armor stripping ability, you can group enemies with tornadoes, use your vastilok with shattering impact, then boom, armor stripped in an instant
@@CephalonMatt here’s the thing tho, you’re not using your melee with zephyr, so the melee can be a great option for armor strip while using another focus school.
@@hassanawada1736 melee is still a great option with zephyr especially if you are using a heavy attack build. The only thing I don’t like about her tornados is the damage cap they have it’s annoying if you bring a high dmg weapon with her.
@@hassanawada1736 you can melee... doing a slide heavy while aim gliding lets you do aerial heavy attacks. Only 27% marginal CC over sac steel though. Also with Funnel Clouds she has some great melee setups, especially with daggers, Stropha, Ghoulsaw and Hespar.
i think most ppl play zephyr 1 time see that she floats wierd compared to other frames and dont touch her again but she is soooo strong yes and btw you can switch the hold down and tap for abilities if you pref the other way around
Worth noting that the tornadoes have a multiplicative effect on your crit multiplier, just like Volt's shields. So running double CD on your guns can be really valuable. The CC bonus from being airborne is only additive, however.
So i'we done some testing. It seems no matter how much Strength i have, 300% or 40% enemies taking damage from Fire procs nearly if not the same rate. Also noted that with equipped Bane Prime instead of Serration burns enemies quicker, and Bane + Serration is even faster. So Fire procs probably double dip from Banes, or it's just more damage to starting Fire proc overall. But still, fire kills not even nearly as fast as Gas. Thing is, if we got 20 enemies in tornado, when we transfer them Fire - each of the enemies will proc fire and will burn individually. While if we transfer Gas - each enemy will summon a gas cloud, and every single enemy will take damage from every other of 20 Gas clouds separately. So x20 damage. Same goes for Electricity, but with Electricity enemies themselves become damage dealers and if they die one by one - there will be less overall damage with each dead enemy, still powerful tho, and easier on video performance. My suggestion - try Crit + Hunter Munitions + Gas + Electric(either one of them). Pick weapon with high crit chance, decent status chance that can deal high initial instances of damage(preferably hit-scan). Since Gas has maximum amount of 10 stacks it's important to initiate first Gas proc with highest damage possible, instead of small but fast ticks.
I am Birdframe_Prime and I support this message. That said, from multiple endurance runs, you genuinely don’t need armour strip for hours of content. Nothing can challenge you on Grineer missions, a simple application of Radiation fixes Infested, and your only trouble is Nullifiers.
Also I just want to note, you still get the buff of archon vitality even without leveling the mod. That’s usually how I run it because it takes up space.
Yo, take a beam weapon (such as a high crit gaze cuz kitgun rivens are easy to come by and are really cheap to buy if u plan to roll) with cascadia flare (this arcane is additive instead of multiplicative, so cascasia flare can out right replace hornet strike because cascadia flare does double the damage) mod for viral heat, plus bane mod (only for endurance runs) Zephyr's tornadoes excel the best with high fire rate, high crit, medium status secondary weapons... if it can crit, even better because shooting the tornado has a hidden passive of increasing your crit damage by 200% Without a doubt. U want to use airburst augment to scale up ur damage further (with enuff enemies you can get to +500% more damage on secondaries on top of the +480% from cascadia flare) airburst augment is capped at 500%, but power strength affect how much ur percentage increases per enemy pulled. The percentage will not increase unless your next airbust shot pulls in more enemies, but at the same time, u need at least 1 enemy pulled to reset the timer with ur current stacks unaffected. So high range, High duration, and low strength works amazing. I recommend molt augmented arcane and pistol fire rate arcane because of this. I like to replace her 1 with either spectrospihon (gara's subsume) plus augment for energy orb heaven. But I might switch to dispensary (protea's subsume) since you don't need her augment and it's more reliable especially with equilibrium+ primed flow. u don't need efficiency at all (I also have 2 energy orb efficiency archon shards so energy orbs are 50 energy a pop.... if u use [energizing shot] exilus mod for pistols, u can get 100 energy per orb if it crosses ur beam shots). I also run unairu to strip armor/shields since airburst conveniently has a tight cluster effect that basically garentees everything gets stripped.
I should mention u can use primers to further ur damage, cuz Galvantized shot is op Examples: Zenistar built with corrosive blast Mutalist cernos/torid built with magnetic toxin and hunter munitions for free slash procs
Her 1 let's you hover, with a few of the right mods you can have 80% damage reduction while hovering/ air borne. I have had a few people ask me for my build. I had almost just as many kills as a saryn lol.
Dissapointed to not see my stropha carnis combo that I showed you, also weapons with electricity and gas work really well, for example the basmu and ambrasador alt fire. Anyways, love the vids, keep it up!
@@DrewBoivie it's another "explode on death" combo. With armour strip almost all of them instakill every enemy in your tornadoes, Combustion Beam being the exception since it's a fixed damage amount and doesn't scale off HP like the others (Detron, Jat Kittag, Sobek off the top of my head).
Zephyr is also really good with the convectrix if you mod for riven (slash chance + multishot), frost and status chance with arcane frostbite it melts everything without wasting time getting fancy with meele, it's pretty much a farm factory for arbitration missions.
Its one of those frames that absolutely sleepwalks through most content but really has to plan ahead for Acolytes, Sisters, Archons, etc. How did I not know you could hold down 4 for targeted tornadoes!?!?!?
zephyr is the best utilitarian frame imo. he has an ability for almost any situation and his one can be helminthed for anything with no overall loss. his passive is 150% crit damage boost just by jumping, need to group enemies/farm containers (even thru walls) hit his 2, need damage reduction hit his 3 to tank, need to hold a point or take out a heavy enemy hold 4. kuva survival, sp fissure survival, defense, mobile defense, plains/deimos/fortuna bounties, demolysts the frame is great at endurance runs. positioning (near a corner to protect ur back), keep 3 up and funnel enemies into 4 tornado with ur 2. once u break a heavy units guard they get sucked up into ur 4 and if things arent dying fast enough just double jump and shoot ur tornado. all very simple.
and yeah, she has been my "second" main for a long while, I just can't get enough of her I subsumed spellbind on her so with her 3 she is basically immortal to absolutely anything except melee
hi, i just use unairu school. then place the unairu shield strip bubble around tornadoes and once ive gathered enough enemies, i shoot my caustic strike that 100% armor strips them and demolish them. u dont even need to armor strip. also for my build i put spectrorage and spectrosiphon and built for a little more range :D

loads of people say she's underrated, but if I ever find a public game for a steel path mission there's almost always a zephyr. I think she's pretty well recognized by now
I've been maining Zephyr since like 2018-ish. It's funny how people are just now beginning to realize how good she actually is. Originally, I just built her with the intention of leveling her for MR and dumping her. But after playing with her while leveling, I instantly was like, "Wow... She's fkn amazing!" For all the new players out there, Zephyr can _easily_ clear the normal star chart with minimal investment and a mediocre weapon. Or, an easy to get extremely good weapon such as the Dread. Common drop from the Stalker, 50% _base_ Crit Chance, and shooting the tornadoes essentially turns the Dread into an absurd early game AOE weapon. Late game, there's a lot of extremely good weapons out there, but for the extra lulz, Incarnon Dread kinda becomes a meme weapon. The damage output is so ridiculous, you actually break your own tornadoes (doing way too much damage) and have to self-nerf to prevent them from breaking.
As a zephyr main i suggest stropha for melee, it takes one heavy attack to one shoot ANYTHING inside the tornados, if you cant kill whit one hit, just trow some stats at the tornado and do it again. Now it should one shoot
Rule of thumb: You don't want a warframe to be noticed. If it's good to you, then by all mean, just keep it that way. Don't let DE sniff anything 'OP' in the game...
The bubonico alt-fire is way too good, not to use on the tornadoes. In sp survival missions I can get to 70-80 minutes easy, but at that point I get a bit tired and bored, so I extract.
I love when RUclipsrs put in there title game breaking or op weapon in there title then are confused after when those weapons and frames get nerfed soon after.
the problem is that the damage delivery has not always been with the Tornados I don't know with which update that was but somehow no one ever noticed and also by that it was also never tested
I recommend no helminth. First ability when held makes you hover, draining energy. Constant passive-online. I recommend arcane antitoxin or the slash one. Cause for some reason those procs like to randomly slip through your 3.
I use the nataruk instead with fire and archon vitality you really don't even need armor strip with her at all with the nataruk build it just goes boom with red 1mil crits I subsumed garas instead for way better energy economy I don't have arcane energize yet :)
you only really need armor strip for endurance runs, i just run max duration and then for the weapon, Electric Quanta Vandal or a Gas Kuva Chakkurr. It kills 165 corrupted HG in under 1 second usually. Quanta Vandal just applies massive amounts of elec and chakkur is if you prefer a 1 Shot kill all red crit type build
@@Robitussin.g Standard galvanized setup, i believe i used the elemental mods but not the 60/60 version, bane mod if needed, and in my case i have a riven with crit damage but can be swapped out with hammer shot or multishot mods
Sooooooo what's that void cascade build you have up there? For me, I go back and forth on adding nourish or silence to her 1. Nourish is great for energy and damage in void cascade and silence is good for turning off special abilities.
Me but instead of roar I use dispensary. Max range build some power p flow with equilibrium for infinite energy and team usefulness. I also have both molt dur n str arcanes on. She be one shot everything 💀 It's also fun hopping everywhere so u don't lose your stacks (therefore engaging gameplay and not completely brain dead) Lol
My almost main Birb Girl, have a loadout with her on top of others. Her tornadoes all though have two major issues: 1st - they don't succ enemies if they are standing mere 1-2 feet below the horizontal plane they were cast on. Like if tornado is chiling at the top of the stairs, enemy that is on the stairs slightly lower it can just stand there, even of he is within horizontal radius of effect. So we forced to constantly pull enemies with her 2nd, gladly, it costs less energy while airborne, but still it is annoying. 2nd and more important - enemies with ranged weapons JUST FREAKING STOP ADVANCING right near the end of it's area of effect. Like, you cast tornadoes, enemy charges forward, but then they see a tornado and like, nah, i'll better stand here, couple inches from where it succs me. So again, spam 2nd. But skill is still worth it, pay off is HUGE. I made a bug report thread on forum, but no response. Like nobody cares.
why Primary Deadhead on the Phantasma? Do you wanna deny the stacking and with this the damage the Phantasma does for whatever reason or is there something in this build which proccs headshots ?
Idunno, seems kinda slow. I use 40% strength / high duration / medium range build. As weapon i use Kuva Hind with Crit/Hunter Munitions, Gas + Electric. It takes 1 burst or one semi-auto shot to end 10 corrupted gunners and 10 bombards of 190lvl near instant. Like - TR-R-R, and they suffocate while bring electrocuted. All though knowing that Archon Vitality works with her, i'll definitely play around with it. Hell. To make mah gal even more powerful? Count me in. Did you knew, that Tornadoes transfer damage even if target isn't succed but standing within area of effect? It also can pop Aerolyst's cans! AND it transfers damage to freakin' arbitration drones! I swear, if you need to defend something while killing bunches of incoming enemies - Zephyr is you go-to frame. MO, Interception, Excavation etc. Especially on that blasted Kuva Fortress defense, you just stand/hover on target, electric floors can't shock you, turrets can't hit you, flamethrowers can't reach you. You basically own the place more than Crazy Queens.
To be honest, that fire stacking archon build isn't that powerfull. Hyldrin's ability would be more useful imo, since it armor strips AND steals shields for you. All though it benefits a lot more from negative duration, which is not so good on Zephyr overall.
@@oneeGrimm i found stynax's armor strip is the best it dosnt suffer the helmenth penalty so it gets to the 100% armor strip regardles of frame leting you use 2 then sheild bash in to the tornados that you ten mulch them in or useing the tornados with reave to insta kill them with a viral shot gun with more then 10 pellets in muilty shot
@@KAJYT6969 How it works is if you shoot the tornados with a heat weapon NOT the enemies the tornados, it then converts that to ablitiy damage and the tornados will apply heat procs to the enemies which doubles them because of archon bitality
Her problem is that she is slow and clunky, she hates getting magnetized by acolytes, she is not the best against bosses. The reason she is unpopular and why I dont use her is because for steel path endurance there are a ton of options already, some of them do more damage, some of them have better survivability, a lot of them are less annoying to use. Maybe with 200% casting speed I might consider using her but before i get all the shards needed for that I will stick with less annoying options. Also whoever is responsible for making the overframe tier list is from another universe, I doubt anyone who plays the game genuinely agrees with it.
The only problem of zephyr is.... UNPAINTABLE INNER PARTS ON DELUXE SKIN! WHY IT IS NOT GRAY OR SOME OTHER NEUTRAL COLOR! THIS BLUEBERRY YOGHURT PAINT IS RUINNING FASHION FRAME!

Rule of thumb: You don't want a warframe to be noticed. If it's good to you, then by all mean, just keep it that way. Don't let DE sniff anything 'OP' in the game...
The bubonico alt-fire is way too good, not to use on the tornadoes. In sp survival missions I can get to 70-80 minutes easy, but at that point I get a bit tired and bored, so I extract.
I love when RUclipsrs put in there title game breaking or op weapon in there title then are confused after when those weapons and frames get nerfed soon after.
the problem is that the damage delivery has not always been with the Tornados I don't know with which update that was but somehow no one ever noticed and also by that it was also never tested

First ability when held makes you hover, draining energy. Constant passive-online.
I recommend arcane antitoxin or the slash one. Cause for some reason those procs like to randomly slip through your 3.

I use the nataruk instead with fire and archon vitality you really don't even need armor strip with her at all with the nataruk build it just goes boom with red 1mil crits I subsumed garas instead for way better energy economy I don't have arcane energize yet :)
The only warframes I see people play as is ember volt nova syrn and that's mostly it and that new spinning Lazer shooting bayblade prime warframe
you only really need armor strip for endurance runs, i just run max duration and then for the weapon, Electric Quanta Vandal or a Gas Kuva Chakkurr. It kills 165 corrupted HG in under 1 second usually. Quanta Vandal just applies massive amounts of elec and chakkur is if you prefer a 1 Shot kill all red crit type build

@@Robitussin.g Standard galvanized setup, i believe i used the elemental mods but not the 60/60 version, bane mod if needed, and in my case i have a riven with crit damage but can be swapped out with hammer shot or multishot mods
Sooooooo what's that void cascade build you have up there? For me, I go back and forth on adding nourish or silence to her 1. Nourish is great for energy and damage in void cascade and silence is good for turning off special abilities.

Me but instead of roar I use dispensary. Max range build some power p flow with equilibrium for infinite energy and team usefulness. I also have both molt dur n str arcanes on. She be one shot everything 💀 It's also fun hopping everywhere so u don't lose your stacks (therefore engaging gameplay and not completely brain dead) Lol
wouldn't stynax's helminth ability also be great or even better on her than terrify?

My almost main Birb Girl, have a loadout with her on top of others.
Her tornadoes all though have two major issues:
1st - they don't succ enemies if they are standing mere 1-2 feet below the horizontal plane they were cast on. Like if tornado is chiling at the top of the stairs, enemy that is on the stairs slightly lower it can just stand there, even of he is within horizontal radius of effect. So we forced to constantly pull enemies with her 2nd, gladly, it costs less energy while airborne, but still it is annoying.
2nd and more important - enemies with ranged weapons JUST FREAKING STOP ADVANCING right near the end of it's area of effect. Like, you cast tornadoes, enemy charges forward, but then they see a tornado and like, nah, i'll better stand here, couple inches from where it succs me. So again, spam 2nd.
But skill is still worth it, pay off is HUGE.
I made a bug report thread on forum, but no response. Like nobody cares.
Use her 2nd or Gara's subsume ability to attract enemies to her tornadoes

Let me help you out: AOE weapons go through her defensive 3 and enemies can knock her out of her 1.
Idunno, seems kinda slow. I use 40% strength / high duration / medium range build. As weapon i use Kuva Hind with Crit/Hunter Munitions, Gas + Electric. It takes 1 burst or one semi-auto shot to end 10 corrupted gunners and 10 bombards of 190lvl near instant. Like - TR-R-R, and they suffocate while bring electrocuted. All though knowing that Archon Vitality works with her, i'll definitely play around with it. Hell. To make mah gal even more powerful? Count me in.
Did you knew, that Tornadoes transfer damage even if target isn't succed but standing within area of effect? It also can pop Aerolyst's cans! AND it transfers damage to freakin' arbitration drones!
I swear, if you need to defend something while killing bunches of incoming enemies - Zephyr is you go-to frame. MO, Interception, Excavation etc. Especially on that blasted Kuva Fortress defense, you just stand/hover on target, electric floors can't shock you, turrets can't hit you, flamethrowers can't reach you. You basically own the place more than Crazy Queens.
Love Zephyr! I'd like to subsume an armor strip ability that doesn't rely on strength as I like to mod her for max duration/range. Any thoughts?
yeah, don't subsume one, and use a synapse with elec status, and realize u don't need any stripping ^^

To be honest, that fire stacking archon build isn't that powerfull. Hyldrin's ability would be more useful imo, since it armor strips AND steals shields for you. All though it benefits a lot more from negative duration, which is not so good on Zephyr overall.
@@oneeGrimm i found stynax's armor strip is the best it dosnt suffer the helmenth penalty so it gets to the 100% armor strip regardles of frame leting you use 2 then sheild bash in to the tornados that you ten mulch them in or useing the tornados with reave to insta kill them with a viral shot gun with more then 10 pellets in muilty shot
Is it possible to put archon flow and archon vitality?
Use 2 weapons... One with fire and other with cold... And aim at different tornados

@@WarframeFlo Yes, and it specifically says ability damage, but the damage you do to enemies is weapon damage, not ability damage
@@KAJYT6969 How it works is if you shoot the tornados with a heat weapon NOT the enemies the tornados, it then converts that to ablitiy damage and the tornados will apply heat procs to the enemies which doubles them because of archon bitality

Zephyr needs zero forma to ace his way through steel path. Untouched and DONT TOUCH HER KIT! NOTHING CAN BE REPLACED WITHOUT BREAKING HER!
Her problem is that she is slow and clunky, she hates getting magnetized by acolytes, she is not the best against bosses. The reason she is unpopular and why I dont use her is because for steel path endurance there are a ton of options already, some of them do more damage, some of them have better survivability, a lot of them are less annoying to use. Maybe with 200% casting speed I might consider using her but before i get all the shards needed for that I will stick with less annoying options. Also whoever is responsible for making the overframe tier list is from another universe, I doubt anyone who plays the game genuinely agrees with it.

if u can get used to her movement her passive is actually 150% crit hit chance while airborne, its a game changer.
