Actually I think that part at the end with Graham and the Doctor was perfect. Sometimes we don't need anyone's advice, or to tell us how to fix things, or even sympathy. We just need to get things out and someone to listen (one of several meanings of the title), and the Doctor did just that. And from Graham's reaction, I think he got enough from the Doctor just by telling her what's going on even though she didn't know how to respond. Thanks for the reaction, and get some furniture to cut down on the echo. :)

This isnt Doctor Who. This is an abomination. The Doctor doesn't care about her companions. She dismisses her friend when he tries to confide in her his fear of a serious recurring illness. The show plays it for laughs. She doesn't notice when they disappear like in the Judoon episode. This show just needs to die.

I initially assumed Dream Lord too. It would’ve been great to have another incarnation of him, but I love how heady and “Classic Who” Zellin feels as a character concept.

This episode really hit home with me, I've had mental health issues in the past and have responses like both yaz and like Graham and the doctor, I found both helped because of who it was, sometimes you need to listen to advice and sometimes it's just good to be listened to.

The Eternals, the Guardians, the Toymaker. Lots of Classic Who references.....does it mean something or is it just name-dropping?

Simon Beaird While the Doctor is briefly trapped on the nightmare space platform, she has an extended vision of the "Timeless Child," which we briefly saw before in "Spyfall Part 2." The Master told the Doctor that the Time Lords built their entire culture on the "lie of the timeless child." We still don't know what this means, but the fact that the Eternals are back in the game, and the Guardians were mentioned in this episode indicates there might be a connection.
Because the Guardians and the Eternals have powers beyond the Time Lords, it seems possible that they could be responsible for the conception of the Time Lords in the first place. In other words, if there's a conspiracy involving Time Lord history and some kind of cover-up, we might now have a few suspects. Why would the Doctor have parts of a repressed memory come back to her at this exact moment? Here's one hypothetical answer: because she was surrounded by possible ancient Eternal and Guardian technology. And something about the nightmare generating tech is connected to the same old-school tech used to hide the secret of the Timeless Child?

I like the surrealism of this episode. The flying fingers are quite something. I like the scenes at the end, very touching. Its a little odd that the Doctor didn't say anything comforting to Graham about his cancer. I kept thinking she could offer him some hope for a cure. Lovely reaction Troy.

A new home is a bit like a Tardis--they take time to build. This series: Issues as well as drama. What it should be! The Doctor has the biggest mental health crisis to come--but we'll soon see it. Only two weeks to go.

Funny how the police woman went out of her way to help and the Doctor went out of her way to avoid helping, despite the support she has constantly had from the "fam". It is time to issue the team with in-ear headphones, y'know, just in case. So they don't have to pull their finger out, or anyone else's.
