It sounds like two voices singing at the same time and I assumed it was just layered audio edited in the studio. But when you listen to him live he has that same double voice effect in his voice, it's not a backing vocalist, it's just his voice sounding like two people. Idk how he does it. Anyone else notice this?
Yes....Johannes' voice is SPECTACULAR!! Both in the studio and live, sometimes it's better live because like in the 2015 Wacken (Germany) concert at Hail The Apocalysis, Johannes makes some different stops to the recording that fascinates me, not only on that track but on almost all of them. !! I love Avatar, for me it is one of the best Metal Bands of the last 18 Years!! ✌🤘🤘
@@BigManTate7364 I became a Fan of them since 2015, and I started to find out their whole history, they founded Avatar in 2001, they were very young, John and Jonas, 15 and 14 years old, it's incredible, in my opinion Rock and Metal Woman (I've been Rock and Metal for 43 years maybe 😅) Avatar are the best of the last 18 years in Metal, in my personal opinion, they greatly admire Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Pantera, AC/DC, Etc....

They were meant to be headline supporters at the Sophie stage in the evening. But Graveyard were late, and so they swapped positions in the lineup. So most likely Avatar fans didn't know they were on. I was right at the front of the crowd and I didn't know who Avatar were, but I now love them.
My biggest regret was not going to see these in 2014. I dunno where I was at the fest when they were on. but I saw them in the Czech Republic and they were incredible
i Recommend that everyone goes and listens to thier live video on woodstock. Johannes voice is a little bit of but it still sounds awesome. and the guitars there are super duper good. better than the studio i would say
