This is a very basic, beginner guide of things to look for in delve and how to begin your experience looking at nodes and what to value them at!
Tl;DR

My first league ever, brand new player. Tried Delve I like it, very hard at first then easy once you get the azurite for the resistances. I have an RF build so I run through everything. Started doing delve after capping sulphite, no real atlas strat just running through it’s been a blast

@@Travic_I'm in the same boat as OP, and I've really been enjoying delve but that's because I've started doing the "dark" areas. It slows me down a lot, for sure, but I love the mystery of it.
However, I only do it every few days. I'm at level 400.
I used to delve every league. Loved it. Til I started wanting to make different builds that just couldn't deal with the mechanic very well. But hot diggity i had fun with it.
One other thing I like about Delve, although this might be personal, the Experience rate is REALLY good. If I'm starting mapping, I'll gather some sulphite and then go delving, getting some quick easy character levels first

This was my first time playing any Poe season and I made a ton of mistakes and didn’t know anything haha. I think next season I’m gonna go straight delving it was my favorite thing I tried outside of maybe breach farming
Delve is sweet I can relate to this
Delve is great for xp, combo that back and forth with breach/niko atlas and its insane. Best leveling strat imo

I forget when I said you'd be at 10K but I'm preeeetty sure it wasn't too long ago when I said before the end of the year and at 50K by the same time (of that comment) next year. I think it was in August. Well look at where we are sir lol so happy to see your channel is still growing! And I would LOVE to hear more about delve and delve builds. Hopefully I'll be able to stop by stream sometime this week.

I've played two season and the thing that seemed the most fun to me was delving (albeit not even beyond 90 depth before i stopped :X) and it's true like you said at the end of a video: You can't get any "good" comprehensive guide on delve on youtube, I only see you talking about it, I'll go back to poe in december and try to push a little, mapping is kinda weird... need to look up a way to do maps first haha :)
You only need to go to depth 500 to 600 to maximize bosses and special fossil nodes.
Yeah that’s a good sweet spot but it gets way better the deeper you go. If you don’t want to deep delve and can wait to 550-600 it’s a good spot to go sideways for sure
You maximize on city biomes at 500 but nodes get more common the deeper you go

Find areas where the niko event is, and gather sulphite node through the map. When you reach maps content, you can add modifiers that makes the event appears 100% ( these are scarabs, that you put in your map device )

I planned to league start delve next league, super excited. Barely scratched the surface this league just messing around at 300 depth. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on league starting delve builds.
Hey I'm very interested in playing Delve next league but I'm struggling trying to prioritize the defenses. I'm not sure what I should prioritize because I don't know the damage types that are the most prevalent. Example would be phys dmg vs max ele res vs chaos immunity ect. I would love to see what you do to your characters defensively and what layers of defense you prioritize! Thanks for the vid
I'm around depth 260. I like doing the vaal and prime evil nodes. I get a lot of sextants, maps, resonators, and some interesting corrupted gear, the vaal boss has dropped the 6 div maze map twice and I've dropped the bottom end a few times. It's my first league, but delve is by far my favorite thing to farm.
I’m commenting before watching the whole video, but I am planning on doing delve next league and I would love to know a couple different builds that excel at delving to choose from.
My RF build slaps I run through the tunnels never dying exploding everything and my resistances are well above cap it’s very easy and fast 💨

I Delve in SSF and can easily get to 800 to 1k with RF, Bonezone and Blazing Slavo Jugg. I am told by friends that most Trickster builds excell at Delve but I have not personally tried Trickster.
I went with Occultist Doomblast last league to depth 1200, build was tanky asf

Do you know how to check who has gone the farthes into the mine in a given league? Is there any ladder anywhere available to check? I'm just wondering what is the max depth that was achieved this league. Thank you.
Poe.ninja click on builds then where it says sort change experience to delve and click the button to sort by depth!

mostly want to do delve for ssf curse rings but finding im havin trouble getting enough sulfite :(
You have to run maps with wandering path if you can and use the best scarab you can to get maximum sulphite

Im playing a bleed bow gladiator right now. I am at like 290 or 292 depth. Looking for advice in what type of build to run for next league... i like delve and this was my first time going past like depth 90 lol. I dont have as good of dps as i should for going really deep, and my defenses are satisfactory... im not great at generating currency and dont log a great many hours so i iust want to play a build that doesnt cost to heavy that can do deep delve. Even just to like 1000 like you. I dont need to hit 5k or 15k like the intense master delvers.
You need a really strong build to get to a 1000 depth. Usually it cost a lot of currency to make a build like that. As far as what to play for next league I cant really guide you on that yet because we dont have patch notes for next league or know whats coming/changing. The best advice I can give you is to find a mechanic you like and learn how to make it profitable. Even delve at early depths can be very profitable its just a matter of knowing how to be good at it.
seems like azurite does scale past 1200! with high certainty. i just hit 1655 and can tell that i hit the cap already.
i just went back to 700, 1000, 1200 & 1300. i found that even at 1300 the azurite is not where i am used to.
usually i expect a t1 azurite to drop around 1,3-1,6k, a t2 one around 2,5k and a t3 goes for 3,5k+
Yeah, I knew it was around there thanks for confirming. What I have been testing is rare nodes start to show up more often every couple hundred delve which is great. Looks like we cap reward types but frequency increase the deeper we go

i remember when i flipped fossils and resos that i every evening i bought around 60div worth of resonators from the same guy :D the big dick fossil stacks i mostly got from deli orb runners that for whatever reason like fossils since they are easyer to sell then the other orbs (not sure on that one ) :D so there is legit profit.. my only problem is the poor mans journey for the first week of starting your delve
