Yes, however I don't think that the correct time of 9,980 is in the original lesson which is why it says very near correct. Unless the original lessons, which no one seems to have, say 9,980 than Elijah Muhammad got it wrong. The 24 thousand miles represent the 24 wise men or scientist who conceived the Nation of Islam. Master Fard Muhammad was one of the 24 scientists who came to North America by himself.

He was the first missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the United States. Originally, he wanted to teach Islam to the American intellectual class, but he was unsuccessful due to white racism. However, he was able to gain a reasonable Black American following. Thus, twenty-four (24) Ahmadiyyah scientists or scholars focused on resurrecting the mentally dead Blackman and woman of America. It took the scholars ten years (1921-1931) to complete their objective on paper. However, none of them wanted to come to America to do the actual work. Thus, Fard (alone) said l will do it myself. Once Fard taught Elijah, there was no reason for Fard to stay.
A S A the music is a distraction and not necessary or productive. In fact it takes away from the message the lessons. The two Don't belong together. The Messenger never had music as He taught. Its very annoying.
In another one of his videos someone suggested that he should use binaural frequency sounds in the background. I find both suggestions ( yours and that other commenter ) quite interesting.
