Your best shot at a Luka auto is to not buy panini boxes and buy one. You can find them for under 500 at times. I get what you mean but 450 for those two boxes is criminal

I feel like there has been levels to being able to participate in the hobby for a long time. In the mid 90s when I was in middle school I couldn’t afford packs of certain products like Finest and definitely not whole boxes of anything or a Jordan rookie, but I still collected by buying a pack of Collector’s Choice, Hoops or regular Topps. Seems the same today, in that kids are able to buy packs and raw singles at my LCS anytime I’m there. Perhaps the problem is now with social media everyone mostly sees the high end stuff and ripping whole boxes because it makes for good content, so maybe that makes collecting the lower end stuff or opening a single pack feel less fun/exciting? No offense Bob!
Very good point! And videos like mine are entertaining (hopefully 😂) but set a unique standard. I do agree that the hobby is extremely expensive, but it is also what you make it for yourself and you have options. But it would be cool if these types of boxes become more affordable
