    I stopped watching certain auto detailing channels because they fail to educate and only want to show how they clean the dirtiest cars (muddy, full of pet hair, etc). By them showing the process of a filthy car does not help me in learning how to price my business for each service requested. I am a firm believer in quality of quantity. Simply put, quality creates quantity, not the other way around. Thank you sir for educating us, well me! You help me understanding what is recommended without hassle and supposedly hacking the client. You gave real world common sense on the work that they want vs what makes sense. Unless they were putting a clear bra on a 3-step paint correction, gotta ask yourself, is it worth that 3-step? I have subscribed to your channel, because I am a student to life and learning never ceases.

    Very important video for us detailers working in the real world. Having discipline when pricing jobs is critical to making decent money when detailing. If the client wants all the defects and scratches corrected they need to pay for the hours it takes to perform a paint correction to that level.
    How does the TW ceramic polish compare to Griots Boss Finishing Sealant? I want to get around the car quickly & efficiently if I’m just charging for a Paint Enhancement. Wishing all fellow detailers more revenue per hour worked in 2020!

    Joe thanks for educating the differences. I detail out here in Hawaii and people just dont understand that a daily driver doesnt need a 2 step or 3 step. A paint Enhancement is all the average customer needs. Now if we have a prosumer that knows what they want and is in the know how of what paint correction is then yes charge accordingly and take your time for perfection. I love your videos and good job showcasing the hybrid solutions all in one

    Reposting this question given the recency of this video. I understand AIOs tend to contain a high level of ‘fillers’. I personally am an advocate of ‘filler’ type products because let’s face it...filling is much easier than removing defects. I struggle however with the durability of these fillers. Are they not removed as soon as the car is washed again? Please let me know if I am off base.
    Thanks! Just subscribed !

    Hey brother, hope all is well haven't seen you here in a while, which sucks because I believe you're in the top 5 of youtube detailers. Was wondering if you need to toss your polishing pads after using this ceramic polish since it hardens after application which can scratch a different car if you use it at a later date . thanks!

    • @NextLevelAutoDetail
      @NextLevelAutoDetail  3 года назад +1

      Thank you for the kind words hope your doing well.
      It’s wise to use DEDICATED all-in-one pads. Never use a AIO on your pads that you use for real paint correction.
      There are some ceramic all in ones like mckees 37 that actually get rock hard and you are correct that can cause scratching. I did not find this to be the case with the turtle wax product.
      You do not have to toss them tho. Let them soak in a bucket with some APC and wash them properly and you will have no issues.
      Before you use the cleaned pad on a car do a spin out with your machine and agitate the face with a pad brush.
      It’s wise to let them soak in the bucket as soon as you are done using that pad for the day. Letting it dry makes the process that much harder.

      Tundra Whisperer thank you for the continued support.
      The turtle was polish isn't a ”waxy” type of product so it has not stained trim from my experience.
      Depending on the polish you use and the trim it self (not every plastic is the same)
      It can leave staining. If you are ever uncomfortable tape. Experience comes into play and that is your best friend
      However taping trim and masking presents an entire different problem. Picking up tape residue on your pad of picking up residue from your towel.
      Most cases I will not tape unless I get uncomfortable

    • @NextLevelAutoDetail
      @NextLevelAutoDetail  4 года назад +1

      ABSOLUTELY NOT!
      there is no point in topping an all in one. Why use the all-in-one in the first place?
      When you can use a mid grade polish get more cut meaning better results and a dedicated paint sealant that will last longer.
      If you ever top an all in one you are completely wasting your time.
      No point of using the all in one if that is the case.

    • @AmirAbdullah
      @AmirAbdullah 4 года назад

      Next Level Auto Detail interesting very sound point but I’m still under the idea of you put the polisher on the vehicle and work a panel with two passes still a one step would’ve served me better. However if you control the customers expectations then yeah , but I have done one steps in the time a enhancement would’ve taken simply because polishes are better now. Oberk is really good for that because so many panels don’t need a inch per second type work. Then I don’t need to do that only the panels that need that get that. But that’s me.
