Finally!! My second mini album is released!
The title song 'But I' was filmed in Mongolia. We thought that the spacious nature would suit the music well. It was a hard trip but I'm so impressed and moved that it came out so good :)

It's so nice hearing the behind stories from the hair and makeup team's perspective and it's cute how they all love Sulttae so much. Also, the overall styling for this comeback is GORGEOUS!! The shrimp tail looks so unique and Yongsun looks stunning in the red dress with her loose tied-up hair. The people who said that must have boring taste for beauty.
Solar team mr H and ms J especially, thank you for accompanying solar and Solar should be proud of the music video because she worked hard and it looked so pretty with good meaning
The music video lived up to the magnificence of the song, and that is the highest praise I can think of to give. This song, the way Solar-nim sang it, and every detail contributed by the team is, in my eyes, perfect. It is art I can inhale through my ears and eyes.
The hairstyle was good as well though. Thank you, Mr. H for the wonderful hairstyle of Solar unnie. And of course, all of the staff who made the music video. It is a masterpiece!
Beyond the masterpiece that is the MV, I love the way Solar-nim is so playful with the teams that work with her. The teasing and comfort level are such good indicators of how much fun it must be to work with her, even if she is a perfectionist workaholic. She seems to always have extra good chemistry with makeup artists, and it was cute seeing them react similarly.
I don’t understand the bad reviews on the hairstyles. I love them all ! Really ! 👀

This is no joke one of the most impactful MVs I've watched in recent memory
The shrimp tail goes so well with the outfit because it gives that warrior look. The scenes where she appears with this style is when she's climbing the dune, running, being dragged and posing with the eagle so, it makes sense. It complements the idea of fighting to get out of a painful situation/experience.

It's nice to see the staffs with you. They are always blurred in bts stuff from all over, not sure if company or personal thing, but feel they should be seen more if they want to.

I love the song and the MV more than I can say. Every single choice, whether it be the way Solar-nim chose to sang every part or the way the makeup and hairstyle shifted with the progression of the song, was the most impactful and so right for this piece of music art. I'm sure the planning and the additional content will help bring the MV into more people's lives too

My favorite hairstyles were the one with the red dress and the white outfit. The first one is elegant and complements the scene of playing the piano very well. The second one matches the sense of freedom and liberation after confession; it gives me a scorpio 🦂 in the desert vibe, wild and sassy. I love them, great job Mr. H.🎉

I love 'But I' MV so much. It not only captured the beautiful scenes in Mongolia but also the emotions of the song well. On top of all that, Solar's vocal is so good and I love the lyrics that reflects Solar saying goodbye to her past self with burdens and being reborn a new to embrace how colorful she is! And we can see how good the entire COLOURS album is! Thank you for all the hard work.
