YanksAtShea is proud to present another of eleven videos highlighting the last ten home runs of Roger Maris's magic 61 home runs hit during the 1961 season breaking Babe Ruth's single season home run record. Number 53 off of Detroit's Hank Aguirre was called by Mel Allen on this September afternoon in 1961 at the original Yankee Stadium. Long live the REAL all-time single season home run king Roger Maris.

maris pulled everything, i've seen most of his homers from 53 to 61, and every single one of them to right field.

Yep. He consistently pulled the ball with power. Ironically, he hit more homers on the road than he did in Yankee Stadium during his years with the Yankees. He could hit them in any park.
